Grexit?
Feb 6, 2017
-  Varoufakis urges Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to turn his back on Greece lenders, adopt a parallel payment system  and to unilateral restructure the loans held by the European Central Bank -  prepare for break with creditors in order to avoid rupture.  Varoufakis suggested that the strategy is to lead Greeks to the point of exhaustion so they ask to leave the euro themselves.

Put Greece Out of its Misery
Feb 8, 2017
-  The IMF has warned that Greece cannot meet fiscal targets, and insists that it will not be a part of the Troika unless the goals on Greece are realistic.  History suggests the IMF will cave in to Germany and agree to some half-baked plan to put Greece back on track. Such nonsense has been going on for years.  Mercy, Please!

IMF said Greece’s debt is unsustainable. The IMF would consider giving Greece a new loan if the nation’s debt-reduction plans are credible. They arent.
Greece is just a mess - of its own greed!

Greece Likely to Grexit
Feb 9, 2017
-  Trump's EU Ambassador Says Greece Likely to Sever Ties with Germany and Exit The Euro.  Greece is heading towards its 4th bailout deal with creditors. Adding to Grexit fears, Ted Malloch, President Trump's proposed US ambassador to the EU, casts doubt on survival of eurozone and says Athens should return to drachma.

Alexis Tsipras Spearheads Drive To Open First Mosque In Athens Since The Ottoman Empire In 1833
In May, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras declared building a mosque long overdue. The government, he said, would push ahead "out of respect for the Muslim residents in our capital, but also because we are obliged to actively defend our values."

2/13/17

Athens’s half a million Muslims are set to get their first official mosque in more than a century.

The city has not had a formal mosque since it drove out occupying Ottomans in 1833, and Deputy Foreign Minister Ioannis Amanantidis told parliament last year that it was the only European capital “to be deprived of such a religious space”.

For years Muslims have resorted to praying in hundreds of makeshift sites, in crowded basements or dark warehouses targeted by racist attackers.

In May, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras declared building a mosque long overdue. The government, he said, would push ahead “out of respect for the Muslim residents in our capital, but also because we are obliged to actively defend our values.”

The new mosque – a 1,000 square meter building without a minaret, split over two levels – is expected to be ready in April in an old naval base in an industrial, rundown part of Athens.

“We need the mosque for our new generation, for our youth … to feel equal in law, equal in society,” said Greece’s Muslim Association spokeswoman Anna Stamou, a Greek who converted to Islam.

Friday prayers in the underground garage where she and her family went were recited in Arabic and Greek. Men knelt down to pray on its humid crimson carpet, ventilation pipes barely above their heads.

Meanwhile, in Greece
Mar 14, 2017
-  They looted everything - Greek Farmers fight Riot Police with Shepherd Crooks.  The economic and social disintegration of Greece is overshadowed by the Muslim crisis.  The Greek government still sucks and the people of Greece are still really pissed off.

Riots after the government tried to increase taxes and social security contributions. In response, over a thousand farmers from Crete, who used to be immune from these taxes, took a ferry to Athens to riot outside of the agriculture ministry building.  The farmers fought the riot police with shepherd crooks.
