Our experiences shape our lives

The power of God fell on my soul,
That power of God to make me whole.
I felt the fire, the pressure, the toll;
Making a diamond of a lump of coal.

Once I was black & worthless & cold;
Now I have value within His fold.
My setting His choice from day today,
His Light reflecting in His own way.

People see clearly the Lord's lovely Light,
And God follows the flashs
by the power of His Might!
Each person I touch, the Lord touchs too,
And leaves Himself with them,
to teach what is true.

Oh, I often still FEEL
like that old lump of coal,
But the Lord's still at work,
deep in my soul!
He's still refining & cutting this stone,
And He shall continue until I am home!

I can't live by FEELING,
for that is just sand.
Only by God's Word of Truth can I stand.
The Father has told me that I am His son,
And He will preserve me til my life is done.

by Thomas Kincade, painter of Light
There can be PEACE, even in sorrow

WELCOME !!  Come in and browse.  Feel hugged.
Laugh, cry, most of all, find  PEACE

I saw this painting of the Gate by Thomas Kincade,
Painter of Light, and was moved to tears.  He painted it,
I believe for his friend whose wife had just died of cancer.
She believed in Jesus Christ, Messiah, only begotten
Son of God, so she went to Heaven, through the mist.
He'd see her again one day.

I heard the creak of the opening Gate
And I knew that Heaven would not wait;
The soul was wrapped in a glowing Light
And slipped forever from my sight.

Although the walk was winding and slow
We'd traveled together, here below;
Yet when she'd passed through the Celestial Gate,
I wondered;  to grieve?  or celebrate?

The rocks were sharp along the road;
I could not bear her heavy load.
Her pain was great, and she longed for Home,
And now - she's left me - all alone.

She's found peace in Heaven above;
Now she knows that Perfect Love.
I shall miss her, til I see
The Gate doors opening again - for me.

Family ties are very strong
It's good to know that you belong
To something greater than just you
That extends forever, loyal, true.

One will pass, from time to time,
Out of sight, but still in mind.
No, you won't see them anymore,
Because they've reached another shore.

Another time, another place;
New memories form you can't erase.
They leave their children, family, wife,
And enter to a whole new life.

The family bond will never break.
Their memory you will always take,
Until you, too, reach that distant shore,
And join with them again, forevermore.

Lord, You are the Light, & I am the lamp.
May my chimney be bright, & my wick never damp.
May I not be so big, or beautifiul to see,
That in seeing the lamp, people may not see Thee.

Let me Lord not be ugly, so that they turn aside.
Let them see Your Light, come near and abide.
May my wick not be damp with self-pitying tears,
Nor my chimney darkened by worry and fears.

Let the flame of love rise, by day and by night.
As I move on in battle, let praise lead the fight!
Let my joy be full, overflowing to all.
Lord, light my path, so that I might not fall.

May many be warmed by Your Love and Your Light
From my humble lamp, Lord, let them catch sight
Of visions of glory, of Heaven above!
Oh Lord!  Let me live in the Light of Your Love!

Remember the poem "FOOTPRINTS"?
When you see only a pair of footprints in the sand,
don't assume that they are yours. In fact, at the
times you called out to God and let Him help you,
those footprints are the Lord's as He carries you.

Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on,
Let me stand, I am tired, I am weak, I am worn,
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light,
Take my hand, precious Lord, Lead me home.

It seems we tell GOD exactly how He should get us
out of the mess we got ourselves into.

We need to let God be God. Let Him, from His eternal
perspective and heavenly vantage, choose the solution
to our woes. He will never let you down or leave you.

All I find within is strife
In the desert of my life;
Flowers outside everywhere;
I appear without a care.

Only I see all my pain;
My search for peace has been in vain.
Is there a Way to heal my soul?
A formula to make me whole?

I Am the Way, the Truth, the Life
to rescue you from all your strife.
Your garden outside will grow within
As you turn away from sin.

I know the aching of your heart.
My Child, if you will do your part,
I will free you from your shame
So you'll rejoice, and praise My Name!

Long ago there came a Thief
Who stole from you, & caused you brief.
The sin was his, not yours my Dear,
From that day on, you've had such fear.

This fear has been a driving force
To set you on a deviant course.
You hide from Truth for fears of pain,
And so you search for Peace in vain.

Your heart is gentle, I can see,
But you run away from Me.
One sin leads you to another,
And you hurt your sister & brother.

Seek My Face & know My love,
unconditional - from above -
Total,, complete - I never condemn
Your tender heart; you are My friend.

I await you Child, & I'll forgive.
Don't run away! †I want you to live!
I'll heal your soul & set you apart,
And plant a garden within your heart.

It's true! †I promise you!
I wrote this for a woman who had
been sexually abused in childhood.
I've written a dedication on the next page.

Isaiah 58:11
The LORD will guide you always;
HE will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.

Be still, and know that I am GOD
I will be exalted among the heathen
I will be exalted in the earth. Psalms 46:10

JESUS said, I will never desert you,
nor will I ever forsake you. Hebrews 13:5

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast
because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3

Listen! The Lord called and named Me from my mothers womb.
Isaiah 49:1

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life,
but whoever rejects the Son will not see life,
for God's wrath remains on him. John 3:36

and you will be saved, and your household. Acts 16:31

You shall be as a watered garden.
You shall be as white as snow.

I AM the Lord Who healeth thee.
How I long to set you free,
If you'll only follow Me!
I AM the Lord Who healeth thee.

Open your eyes and you will see
How much self abides in thee.
Do you not want more of Me?
I AM the Lord Who healeth thee.

All I've promised, I will be.
Open your eyes, believe in Me.
Take the first step and you'll be free.
I AM the Lord Who healeth thee.

Be not afraid, but trust in Me.
Forget yourself, and you'll be free.
Goodness and mercy shall follow thee.
I AM the Lord Who healeth thee.

Though painful memories encompass thee,
And life seems crumbling hopelessly,
It's just the breaking which sets you free!

God comforts us in sorrow so that we can comfort others.
Some have even thought of suicide. But we have trouble to
teach us to ALWAYS rely on and TRUST GOD .. and God alone.
2 Corinthians 1:8

JESUS is a River of Life,
and His children are a watered garden

The BIBLE is the BEST source of healing

I have known victims of sexual abuse, both male and female.
My heart goes out to you. In childhood you had something stolen
from you to which the thief had no right. However, that does not
give you permission to steal from innocent people now.

My heart breaks for some who live a life of pretense, hiding from
themselves and others, in one way or another.
Sorrowfully, some wind up in various forms of occult or crime.

You can NOT sell your soul to satan,
Jesus bought and paid for it.  It's His.

It is my hope & prayer that you find the courage within you to
talk about it, and to prosecute the guilty. I have created these
three web pages for you. I wrote the 3 poems, Child of My Heart,
Heart Garden, and Healing for you.  I can only ask that you don't
blame everyone you meet for the one or the few who harmed you.

God be with you.

Dear child
Today I will be handling all of your problems.

Please remember that I do not need your help.
If it happens that you feel in a situation you cannot handle,
do not attempt to resolve it with ways that are your own.
Kindly put it in the SFJTD (something for Jesus to do) box.

It will be addressed in MY TIME, not yours.
Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it or
remove it. Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of
your problem. If it is a situation that you think you are capable
of handling, please consult me in prayer to be sure that it is
the proper resolution. Because I do not sleep nor do I slumber,
there is no need for you to lose any sleep. Rest my child.
If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away.
Love, Yeshua  /  Jesus

Listen for the Silent, Sweet Sound of His Voice

When you are tired and discouraged from fruitless efforts...
God knows how hard you have tried.
When you've cried so long and your heart is in anguish...
God has Counted your tears.
If you feel that your life is on hold and time has passed you by..
God is waiting with you.
When you're lonely and your friends are too busy even for a
phone call...God is by your side.
When you think you've tried everything and don't know where
to turn ... God has a solution.
When nothing makes sense and you are confused or frustrated
God has the answer.

If suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope
God has whispered to you.
When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for
God has blessed you.
When something joyful happens and you are filled with awe ...
God has smiled upon you.
When you have a purpose to fulfill and a dream to follow ...
God has opened your eyes and called you by name.

Remember that wherever you are or whatever you are facing ...

You are set apart for God, and He has accepted you
because of what the Lord Jesus Christ and the
Spirit of our God have done for you.   1 Corinthians 6:11

BABIES are from GOD

Little child, lying there,
Born to life which is not fair;
Innocent eyes open wide;
Mother's here, by your side.

I'll be with you through each night
To comfort you in any fright.
I shall keep you from all harm,
Keep you safe, and keep you warm.

Tiny hands and tiny feet,
Little baby, you're so sweet!
Quiet, trusting hand in mine,
You are God's little gift Divine.

Today you may not even see life,
but suffer death by a doctor's knife:
A precious gift God wanted to give,
Won't even have your chance to live.

Father God in Heaven above
Smile upon us with Your love.
Keep us safe by night and day
In Your tender, Holy way.

Psalm 139
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my motherís womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!

Your workmanship is marvelous, how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.

You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

This poem is for all who have ever had a life in your womb,
He is a baby, as soon as the sperm penetrates the egg

How can anyone choose to kill these precious little ones!
Women do not understand the emotional and mental damage it costs.

Teens who have an abortion are very prone to die of
breast cancer in thier 20's.

I'll See You Again
Yeshua / Jesus welcomed them HOME!
You have left your footprints on my heart

I was inspired by Josh McDowell's 2002 radio program on the loss of a baby.
This can be applied to the loss of a parent or spouse also, in some modified ways.
'Little Footprints' has a beautiful line 'you have left your footprints on my heart.'

is a Book by Pastor Jack Hayford
For all women who have lost a baby/child.
You WILL see them again in heaven to hug and to hold!

Some name their unborn baby.
Some buy a physical memento.
One father who's wife miscarried went out and bought a ring
for his wife with the birthstone of the month the baby died

If you have lost a child remember
People mean well, but tend to say 'the wrong thing'
Forgive them

If you know someone who lost a child buy the book.
This can be a great witnessing tool for grieving parents who are unsaved.

I'll Hold You in Heaven is a book by Pastor Jack Hayford

Angels in Heaven, Debbie Heydrick
Some doctors estimate that up to 40% of all pregnancies end up in miscarriage or stillbirth.
Debbie minister to parents who have suffered the loss of a child.

Keepsake: Little Footprints
This beautiful matted keepsake is a wonderful gift to minister
to a couple who have gone through a miscarriage. With the poem
'Little Footprints' inscribed on it, it gives mourning couples
a tangible way to help them grieve their loss.

Just as you do not know the path of the wind
and how bones are formed in the womb of the pregnant woman,
so you do not know the activity of God who makes all things.
Ecclesiastes 11:5

Did not He who made me in the womb make him,
And the same one fashion us in the womb?
Job 31:15

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully
made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book
were all written The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.
Psalms 139:13-16

They have crossed the Eternal Bridge
