Indiana Farmer Loses Battle Against Monsanto
5/13/13  The Supreme Court ruled today against a 76-year-old Indiana farmer who had taken on Monsanto in a patent dispute over a genetically modified soybean seed.
"The question in this case," Justice Elena Kagan wrote for a unanimous court, "is whether a farmer who buys patented seeds may reproduce them through planting and harvesting without the patent holder's permission. We hold that he may not."

Monsanto developed the seed that is resistant to a powerful weed killer called Roundup.
Farmers pay a premium price for the seeds and enter into the contract with the company promising to buy new seeds for subsequent planting seasons. Monsanto makes the requirement in order to protect the company's investment and its patented technology. The seed is now used for more than 90 percent of soybeans grown in the United States.

Vernon Bowman has purchased the seed for years for his first crop and abided by the technology agreement. But for a more risky, second-crop planting later in the season, Bowman didn't want to invest in the expensive soy bean.

Second plantings are susceptible to the dangers of a short growing time and the threat of drought. He decided to take a risk and buy a mix of unlabeled seed from the local grain elevator hoping that most of it would be Roundup resistant. After harvesting that crop, he would save the progeny and replant it in the late 1990s.
Lawyers for Bowman argued in court that Monsanto's patent was exhausted after the first sale.
Monsanto sued the farmer in 2007. (cont.)

Evil or Very Mad   Monsanto / MERS-CoV Grave Threat to World
The entire world is faced with an extreme threat from genetically modified mutant plants created by the American Monsanto.
This threatens our planets entire food supply and has been linked to
MERS-CoV, the deadly respiratory syndrome coronavirus.

Monsanto crops linked to mysterious deaths in Alabama from GM cotton plants.
Putin ordered the Russian military to over flying the United States to detect how widespread these GM crops have become.
(They are EVERYWHERE, and part of the reason Obama killed Libya leader Kdaffy and wants Assad OUT.  Both prevented poison GM in their nations.)

Oddly, the Russian plane began its final flight over the Gulf of Mexico but was thwarted by an anomalous radar blob event.
The radar blob was chaff dropped from American military aircraft.
Alabama croplands are a widespread and unfolding disaster. Americas most vital growing regions of wheat appear to be inundated with illegal genetically modified wheat.

Monsanto mutant wheat plants is linked to the mysterious outbreak of the MERS-CoV virus that the World Health Organization warned is a threat to the entire world.
Dutch scientists at the Erasmus Medical Center in the Netherlands patented this deadly MERS-CoV virus and refused anyone else from examining it.

Monsanto and DuPont are tied to the Netherlands Erasmus University
The world court is in the Netherlands.  Some of this article is probably true, a few facts may be altered.  Is MERS-Cov the virus accident in China?

Monsanto Mass Genocide Plot
Dec 28, 2013
GMO is dangerous!  GMO is global genocide.
Obamafia - Monsanto are perpetrating a mass genocidal plot against human beings.
A highly respected international scientist calls for a 10-year moratorium on genetically modified crops (GMOs).
The Barack Obama regime with Monsanto plot to flood the world with GMO crops and foods they fully know are deadly.
Since 2008 Obama filled key posts with Monsanto people (and Muslim terrorists).
I know people suspect this Sorcha link, but the wise take heed.

Evil or Very Mad    Brazil to ban Monsanto Roundup
Mar 28, 2014  Be careful how you read anything.  There is a major difference between good stewardship of Earth and worshipping it.

Terminator seeds were banned across the globe following massive protests in India, Latin America and south-east Asia in the 1990s.

Brazil Seeks Ban on Monsanto Herbicide Due to Alarming Toxicity Risks
Brazil Federal Public Prosecutor has asked the country’s justice department to suspend the use of glyphosate, which is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup.

Brazil wants to suspend use of glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto herbicide Roundup.
Glyphosate may be linked to a fatal kidney disease.  It becomes highly toxic to the human kidney once mixed with hard water or metals like arsenic and cadmium that often exist naturally in the soil or are added via fertilizer. They are also pursuing bans on the herbicide 2,4-D.

France banned the sale, use, and cultivation of Monsanto genetically-modified maize MON 810.
Insects in the United States are developing a resistance to the GM maize.

Brazil Vote on Terminator Seeds
Brazil vote next week could unravel global ban on seeds.
Terminator seeds, banned across the globe following massive protests in India, Latin America and south-east Asia in the 1990s, may be sprouting up in fields soon following the likely passage of a bill in the Brazilian legislature this month that could unravel a global moratorium on the technology.

Apparantly after promising NO GMO, Monstano intends to mass produce GMO poison seeds in Ukraine!  EEK! Shocked

Sad  Exclamation

Argentina environmentalists, farm workers protest  Evil or Very Mad  Monsanto pesticides
May 15, 2014
Agriculture workers and various environmental advocacy groups in Argentina are protesting the use of pesticides produced by biotech giant Monsanto as they seek to halt work on the company’s new chemical plant in Malvinas Argentina.

Residents, along with workers who regularly come into contact with Monsanto's products, are calling for the suspension of the use of the company's pesticides, claiming they cause adverse health effects. The protest comes amid mounting scientific evidence that the liberal and often unregulated use of Monsanto’s chemicals are linked to growing instances of various cancers and birth defects.

The collection of groups protesting construction of the new plant in Argentina’s province of Cordoba have halted progress for months now, while they seek a permanent injunction based on health and environmental concerns.

“Here we have the aberration that on one side of the fence is the fumigation (use of pesticides) and on the other side of the fence is the town, or the local school, which is subjected to aerial spraying. Teachers have to come outside and shelter their students indoors because these toxic chemicals are raining down,” said Antonio Riestra, a member of the Unidad Popular party, which has joined the cause.

Beyond halting work on the new plant, activists hope to gain support from the local and national government to eject Monsanto out of Argentina. That goal seems remote, though, considering the proliferation of Monsanto pesticides along with the company’s genetically modified crops.
Within the last few decades, Argentina has transformed itself into the world’s third-largest soy producer, almost all of which is genetically-modified seed. The crop is now the country’s most important export.

Along with the growth of soy crops has come the liberal use of pesticides – the most pervasive of which is Monsanto’s glyphosate, which singles out invasive weeds when applied to the crops. The use of glyphosate – more commonly known as  Evil or Very Mad  RoundUp – has surged, evidently as a result of weeds' increasing resistance to the herbicide.

Monsanto massacres monarchs
February 10, 2015
-  970 million butterflies killed since 1990
The beautiful monarch butterfly, which is also a major pollinator, is being threatened by herbicides that eradicate milkweed, its primary food source. Now, a desperate rejuvenation program is under way to save the species from possible extinction.

US Fish and Wildlife Service summed up the plight of the monarch butterfly: Since 1990, about 970 million of the butterflies - 90% of the total population – have vanished across the United States.
Monsanto’s Roundup Ready herbicide wreaks havoc. Sold to farmers and homeowners as an effective method for eliminating milkweed plants, Roundup Ready, introduced in the 1970s, is widely blamed for decimating the monarch butterflies’ only source of food in the Midwest.
Rising suicide rate for Indian farmers blamed on GMO seeds

Killer Monsanto is in Ukraine - Ukraine has a law - NO GMO
presto - needs new govt who will allow GMO.

Scientists warn of link between new pathogen and Monsanto Roundup
February 20, 2011 -  Urges USDA to rescind approval of genetically engineered alfalfa:
“In layman’s terms, it should be treated as an emergency.”

A plant pathologist experienced in protecting against biological warfare recently warned the USDA of a dangerous new, self-replicating, micro-fungal virus-sized organism which may be causing spontaneous abortions in livestock, sudden death syndrome in Monsanto’s Roundup Ready soy, and wilt in Monsanto’s RR corn.

Dr. Don M. Huber, who coordinates the Emergent Diseases and Pathogens committee of the American Phytopathological Society, as part of the USDA National Plant Disease Recovery System, warned Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack that this pathogen threatens the US food and feed supply and can lead to the collapse of the US corn and soy export markets.  Likewise, deregulation of GE alfalfa “could be a calamity,” he noted in his letter (reproduced in full below).

On January 27, Vilsack gave blanket approval to all genetically modified alfalfa. Following orders from President Obama, he also removed buffer zone requirements. This is seen as a deliberate move to contaminate natural crops and destroy the organic meat and dairy industry which relies on GM-free alfalfa. Such genetic contamination will give the biotech industry complete control over the nation’s fourth largest crop. It will also ease the transition to using GE-alfalfa as a biofuel.

“My letter to Secretary Vilsack was a request to allocate necessary resources to understand potential nutrient-disease interactions before making (in my opinion) an essentially irreversible decision on deregulation of RR alfalfa,” Huber told Food Freedom in an email.

Huber, who has been studying plant pathogens for over 50 years and glyphosate for over 20 years, has noticed an increase in pathogens associated with the Roundup herbicide.

In 2010 Argentine scientists found that Roundup causes birth defects in frogs and chickens.
“In Argentina and Paraguay, doctors and residents living in GM soy producing areas have reported serious health effects from glyphosate spraying, including high rates of birth defects as well as infertility, stillbirths, miscarriages, and cancers. Scientific studies collected in the new report confirm links between exposure to glyphosate and premature births, miscarriages, cancer, and damage to DNA and reproductive organ cells.”

Sincerely, COL (Ret.) Don M. Huber (I pulled excerpts, click for entire article)

Obama approves Roundup Ready Monsanto GMOs
5/8/11   The corporate money-vacuuming beast known as Monsanto has scored a major under-the-radar victory in the last few months, and few but organic farmers have noticed. From Food Democracy Now (my emphasis):

[In January] the Obama administration has unbelievably chosen to approve three biotech crops, Roundup Ready genetically modified (GMO) alfalfa, Roundup Ready genetically modified (GMO) sugar beets and a new industrial biotech corn for ethanol production. Obama's recent approval of them will allow them to be planted as early as this spring, despite widespread acknowledgement that these crops are certain to contaminate both conventional and organic farmers non-GMO crops. ... [T]he USDA's approval of the new industrial biotech corn for ethanol production occurred despite massive outcry from major food companies who know that it will contaminate and possibly ruin the food they sell to you everyday.

These decisions are a devastating blow to our democracy and the basic rights of farmers to choose how they want to grow food on their land and the rights of consumers who increasingly choose organic and sustainably grown food for its positive health and environmental impacts.

This spells the end of organic farming in the United States. Listen to David Murphy of Food Democracy Now in an interview with Sam Seder of Majority Report:
Here are some links for the story on corn, alfalfa, and beets. There's also plenty more here on why this is all so bad, including this tidbit:

Monsanto’s Roundup Ready GMO alfalfa – Jan. 27th, 2011 – Over the objections of hundreds of thousands of American citizens, the White House approved this unnecessary crop – despite the fact that 93% of alfalfa hay grown in the U.S. does not use herbicides and that genetic contamination with conventional, non-GMO and organic alfalfa threatens the livelihoods of tens of thousands of family farmers and the food choices of more than 50 million organic consumers.

It's appalling. As Mr. Murphy states, Monsanto:
■ Won over Tom Vilsack because of pressure from the White House.
■ Can go into the fields of organic farmers, collect samples, and sue farmers if the fields contain any of Monsanto's patented products.
(By the way, did you notice how tired he sounds? It's exhausting work, what he does.)

The beast called Monsanto now has a license to print money, issued by a man (Obama) who represents a corn, wheat, and alfalfa state (Illinois). In that sense, Obama is the "President from Monsanto" in the same way that Joe Biden was the "Senator from MBNA." (For more on Obama and corn, read the introductory story in this 2006 profile. It's an eye-opener; and remember, Ken Silverstein wrote it in 2006.)

I'll say this about food and my fellow countrymen. Americans are not less "moral" about their eating than they were before. We always ate like pigs in the post-war years. Food was cheap and plentiful, and we eagerly ate our fill.

In addition, since most of us came from ethnic-beer backgrounds (German, English, Dutch, Swedish) as opposed to ethnic-wine backgrounds (French, Italian), we tended toward meat-and-potatoes "big" in any case. The combination always produced large Americans. Remember, the all-you-can-eat "smorgasbord" came to the U.S. in 1939. That's a lot of potatoes ago.
So no, our eating hasn't changed, but the food sure has. To see the difference — overweight then vs. overweight now — try this experiment. Watch the Lawrence Welk show on PBS (if you can stand it) and notice what "uncomfortably large" looked like for the over-fifty crowd in 1960. Now watch the people in the background of Antiques Roadshow — or go to the airport — and see what ït looks like today. Literally the difference between soccerballs and beachballs.

It's not the eating, it's the food; and the food is killing us. Now that Monsanto has been granted a White House-enabled monopoly on grain-crops — including the ability to force out of business anyone growing from uncopyrighted grains — the future looks even deadlier than the past.

Natural cereal may be toxic
October 11, 2011
‘Natural’ breakfast cereals loaded with pesticides and GMOs
Breakfast cereals have deceptive product labeling.
Consumers are misled by the word NATURAL, believing it to mean the product is free from GM and pesticides.
Many brands actually contain high levels GMOs and toxic chemical pesticides including antifreeze ingredient!

There is GE / GMO contamination in almost everything, even “non-GMO” food products.
Many 'natural' products are from 1/4 to 100% toxic GMO!

Nature’s Path products are 100% certified organic and free from GMOs.

Americans are eating our young!!
Nov. 17, 2011  This is cannibalism!  DARPA and Monsanto are part of this.
Many companies use ABORTED FETAL TISSUES in foods
we eat and use.
Aborted babies have been used in medical products and cosmetics for years.
Semonyx is profiting from Abortions.
They claim we are not eating aborted fetal tissue but who knows?
I have known vaccines are cultured in tissues from babies.

Do Kraft, Nestle and Pepsi Cola put babies in food and drinks or not.  I am unsure.
PepsiCo contracted with Senomyx (SIN omyx) who uses fetal cells from babies victimized by abortions to test and produce artificial flavor enhancers.
Senomyx (SIN omyx) tests their food additives using fetal cells from abortions.
Aborted fetal tissue used as food enhancer.

YES, in many foods human genes are being injected.
There is also a flurry of commingling and merging of plant and animal dna and rna to create new species
under the auspices of OWOH whose doctrine is now being implemented and totally violating scripture not to mix the species.
DARPA and Monsanto are part of this.
It began with corn and soy and migrated to rice, tomatoes, and fruits.
Nothing is safe unless one grew it and even then there is evidence that the chem trails contain human blood which can be absorbed into the plants.
