       Thou shalt do no murder
Exodus 20

What does the Bible say about abortion?

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart.
Jeremiah 1:5

For You created my inmost being
You knit me together in my mother’s womb
Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in Your book
before one of them came to be.
Psalm 139:13, 16

Do not shed innocent blood.
Jeremiah 7:6

That verse is one of the 10 COMMANDMENTS, not suggestions.
It is commonly Do not kill, but that is not the meaning behind this command from the Finger of GOD Himself.
It does not refer to war or self defense.
It refers to killing an innocent human.
It DOES NOT refer to killing an animal.  Yes some actually believe that!

9 Things You Should Know About Roe v. Wade
January 2013
On the fortieth anniversary of the landmark abortion decision, Roe v. Wade, a new poll shows the majority of people under 30 can't name what the case was about. Only 44 percent among those ages 18 to 29 know it dealt with abortion. In an attempt to help fill that knowledge gap, here are 9 things young people—and everyone else—should know about Roe:

1. Contrary to the popular conception, Roe does not limit abortion to the first trimester but institutionalized abortion on demand in all 50 states. As the Supreme Court wrote in the 1992 case Casey v. Planned Parenthood, "we reject the trimester framework, which we do not consider to be part of the essential holding of Roe."

2. Another abortion case that was decided the same day as Roe was Doe v. Bolton. The Court's opinion in Doe v. Bolton stated that a woman may obtain an abortion after viability, if necessary to protect her health. The Court defined "health" as follows:

Whether, in the words of the Georgia statute, "an abortion is necessary" is a professional judgment that the Georgia physician will be called upon to make routinely. We agree with the District Court, 319 F. Supp., at 1058, that the medical judgment may be exercised in the light of all factors - physical, emotional, psychological, familial, and the woman's age - relevant to the well-being of the patient. All these factors may relate to health.

As Ramesh Ponnuru has explained,

The 'attending physician'—in real life, very often an abortionist with a financial stake in the decision—can always say that in his medical judgment, the abortion was necessary to preserve the woman's emotional 'health,' especially considered in light of her 'familial' situation. Any prosecution would have to be abandoned as unconstitutional. In other words: The Supreme Court has effectively forbidden any state from prohibiting abortion even in the final stages of abortion.

In the Roe decision Justice Harry Blackmun said that the two opinions—Roe and Doe—"of course, are to be read together."

3. Even legal scholars who agree with legalized abortion have admitted that the reasoning in the Roe decision—which was written by Justice Blackmun—was shoddy. Edward Lazarus, a former clerk for Justice Blackmun, has written that, ". . . as a matter of constitutional interpretation and judicial method, Roe borders on the indefensible." Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who is now herself a Supreme Court Justice, wrote in a 1985 law review article that, "One of the most curious things about Roe is that, behind its own verbal smokescreen, the substantive judgment on which it rests is nowhere to be found."

4. The majority of American states were not moving toward liberal abortion laws before Roe. In 1971, on the eve of Roe, legislation to repeal abortion laws was voted down in Colorado, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, New Mexico, and Ohio.

5. Because of the Roe decision, America is (along with Canada) one of the only Western countries in offering no legal protection to the unborn at any stage of development.

6. In a 1971 resolution on abortion, the Southern Baptist Convention resolved that "society has a responsibility to affirm through the laws of the state a high view of the sanctity of human life, including fetal life." However, the largest Protestant denomination in America had a peculiar definition of sanctity of human life, for the very next sentence called upon Southern Baptists to "work for legislation that will allow the possibility of abortion" under such conditions as 'fetal deformity' and 'damage to the emotional, mental, and physical health of the mother.' Three years later—and two years after Roe codified this position into law—the SBC reaffirmed the resolution. It wasn't until 1980 that the SBC finally condemned abortion as a grave evil.

7. "Jane Roe" was the legal pseudonym for Norma McCorvey the plaintiff in Roe v. Wade. In the 1980s, McCorvey claimed she had been the "pawn" of two young and ambitious lawyers who were looking for a plaintiff with whom they could challenge the Texas state law prohibiting abortion. In the late-1990s, McCorvey was working at a Dallas abortion clinic when the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue moved its offices next door. She says Rev. Phillip Benham, Operation Rescue's national director, started "sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ" with her. She later became a Christian and committed pro-life advocate.

8. No one knows precisely how many illegal abortions there were before Roe, but in 1981 three researchers estimated a range from "a low of 39,000 (1950) to a high of 210,000 (1961) and a mean of 98,000 per year." In 2009, 784,507 legal induced abortions were reported to the Centers for Disease Control from 48 reporting areas.

9. Slightly more than half (54%) of white evangelicals, according to the Pew Research Center study, favor completely overturning Roe. No other religious group, including white mainline Protestants, black Protestants, and white Catholics, agreed with completely overturning the ruling. In fact, substantial majorities of white Protestants (76%), black Protestants (65%), and white Catholics (63%) say the ruling should not be over turned, the survey found.

Roe v. Wade Norma McCorvey is dead
Feb 18, 2017
-  Norma McCorvey, the anonymous plaintiff in Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion in the United States, died in Katy, Texas.  She was 69.  She died of heart failure in an assisted-living home.

PRAY for the living.

Exclamation    A Culture that Celebrates Abortion Wills its Own Destruction
Obama celebrated Roe v Wade (slaughtering millions of children) in a speech.
Obama was grotesque, celebrating an abominable procedure that ought to be outlawed, not glamorized!
Obama affirmed the right to kill babies.
It is misdirection to argue that abortion opponents are on a crusade against womens liberty. This repugnantly factors out of the equation the innocent child involved.

It is dishonest for Obama to couch this issue in terms of womens health. That isnt the issue.
The only thing interfering with a womans choices about her health these days is Obamacare.
If maximizing health care choices were what is driving Obama, he would repeal Obamacare.

Nor does abortion have anything to do with privacy under any stretch of the English language, I dont care what the misguided Supreme Court said to the contrary in 1973.
55 million babies have been killed since 1973.

Perhaps the most offensive sentence by Obama was the last one, in which he attempted to fold the right to abortion into the American dream. Has he no shame?  (NO he doesnt)  No speech will alter the irreversible fact that 55 million Americans were never given an opportunity to fulfill their dreams.
Are some people so dark-hearted that they consider killing babies an opportunity to fulfill dreams?

ABORTION and Breast Cancer

40 Women With Breast Cancer Had This "Cosmetic Ingredient" in Their Tissues
23 Apr 2012  Dr. Mercola

New research has detected the presence of paraben esters in 99 percent of breast cancer tissues sampledi.
The study examined 40 women who were being treated for primary breast cancer.
In 60 percent of cases, five of the different esters were present.
Parabens are chemicals with estrogen-like properties, and estrogen is one of the hormones involved in the development of breast cancer.

Abortion and breast cancer
Another study shows a link between abortion and breast cancer.
A study of research conducted over several decades shows a direct connection between abortion and breast cancer, especially with a first pregnancy. Even so, many organizations refuse to recognize it.

Karen Malec (Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer)Karen Malec, president of the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer, tells OneNewsNow about additional confirmation.

"This is a study that came out of Northeast China, and they examined reproductive factors that were associated with different subtypes of breast cancer," Malec explains. "And they found that women who have abortions increase their risk of developing breast cancer later on in life by a statistically significant 17 percent."

Last year, a Turkish study reported a statistically significant 66 percent increased risk for women who had an abortion. The Coalition president reports that both studies involve honest research conducted outside the control of the U.S. National Cancer Institute and other Western groups that insist on refuting or ignoring the research.

Malec argues that the studies are even more relevant, considering healthcare reform which will finance abortions, irrespective of President Obama's executive order which bans use of federal tax dollars for abortion. More abortions, she explains, could equate to increased breast cancer cases in the future.

James 3
Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Why America's abortion debate is murkier and more complex than ever
Feb 2013
Two-thirds of Americans want to uphold Roe v. Wade. But only 13 percent believe abortion is morally acceptable
During the 2012 election cycle, the Democratic Party enjoyed considerable success staking out strongly liberal positions on gay marriage and contraception. Now, apparently, leading Democrats and powerful liberal interest groups are pondering whether to extend this muscular social-issues agenda to the abortion-rights cause — in some cases, by working to guarantee the availability of late-term abortions. The temptation to lump all social issues together is understandable after liberals' 2012 success. But giving in to it would be politically foolish and morally reckless.

To begin to see why, consider what has enabled Democrats to exploit contraception and gay marriage for political gain.

Nearly all American women (99 percent) have used birth control at least once, more than 60 percent of women currently use it, and a strong majority (63 percent) of all Americans support forcing employee-provided health insurance plans to cover contraception. For the huge numbers of voters in these camps, birth control and the ObamaCare contraception mandate are moral non-issues — and so the Democrats have nothing to lose and quite a lot to gain by portraying themselves as absolute champions of birth control.

The GOP, by contrast, is divided on the topic. Most of those who oppose the contraception mandate are Republicans, and it makes sense to assume that the bulk of the 15 percent of Catholics who follow the Vatican's lead in condemning the use of artificial forms of contraception lean toward the GOP as well. That makes birth control electorally problematic for Republicans in a way this it just isn't for Democrats.

A similar dynamic can be seen with gay marriage. While the issue remains considerably more contentious than contraception — with many Americans, especially traditionalist religious believers of many faiths, opposing it for theological and moral reasons — the tide of public opinion is shifting in gay marriage's favor with astonishing speed.

With roughly 50 percent of Americans now supporting gay marriage (and the rate far higher among those 18-34 years of age), the Democrats (from the president on down) have decided that they now have more to gain by offering robust support for gay rights than by opposing it. And they're probably right.

But from the standpoint of public opinion as well as moral reasoning, abortion belongs in a different category. A recent Pew poll nicely captures America's deeply conflicted views on the issue, with strong support for upholding Roe v. Wade (63 percent) combined with nearly half the country (47 percent) saying that abortion is morally wrong and only 13 percent describing it as morally acceptable.

Abortion is among the most thoroughly tragic issues in our public life. This is not a moral condemnation; it is a moral observation. A tragedy in the classical sense is a situation that pits two legitimate moral claims against each other in such a way that one or the other must be sacrificed, despite its legitimacy. That describes the dilemma of abortion exactly: A woman who learns of an unwanted pregnancy finds that her own good and the good of the fetus lie on a collision course. The woman's moral status is clear, or should be clear, to everyone.

The fetus' moral status, by contrast, is murkier. Some — orthodox Catholics and many other traditionalist religious believers — consider that status obvious. But many others do not — and their views are based on widely shared moral intuitions and cultural practices. Couples do not normally grieve for a miscarried fetus with anything like the intensity that they do for a child who dies after birth. Neither will most couples choose to bury a fetus that has failed to make it to term. It is likewise a firmly established custom to measure human age from the time of birth, not from the time of conception. In these and innumerable other ways, we testify to the significance of birth as a threshold separating distinct phases of life. At birth, we become full-fledged residents of the human world that is governed by morality and law; but prior to birth, we exist in a kind of antechamber to that world, not quite the rights-bearing individuals we will be once we fully commence our lives outside the womb.

And yet, progress in science and technology has been slowly strengthening the case for the humanity — and moral status — of the fetus. Unlike the 13th-century Thomas Aquinas, who believed the soul entered the fetus at "quickening" (the point, usually during the second trimester, when the pregnant woman feels the first stirrings of the fetus inside her), we now know that the fertilized egg becomes an embryo at some point between 10 and 14 days after conception — and that the embryo is genetically a distinct person, albeit an immature one. The old debate about whether "life begins at conception" is now beside the point. Evil or Very Mad  The science of embryology clearly shows that personal identity begins roughly two weeks after conception — something brought home to most parents several weeks later when they get to see actual images of their baby in increasingly sophisticated ultrasound scans. To terminate a pregnancy after two weeks terminates the life of a person at a very early stage of development. We can argue about the moral status of this person, but not about its status as a person.

Given the ambiguity in the moral status of the fetus and the fact that it resides within the body of a human being with inviolable rights, it makes sense that public opinion about abortion is so untidy, with strong support for a first trimester right to choose, but less and less support for that right later in pregnancy, the closer the fetus comes to viability. Many people unwilling to describe as murder the termination of a microscopic clump of cells become quite confident in doing so when contemplating an abortion during the third trimester. That moral judgment is neither deluded nor misogynistic. Twisted Evil

Such judgments also shift in response to the motive for seeking out an abortion. When the life of the mother is at stake — perhaps the most tragic trade-off of all — there is great sympathy and support for the pregnant woman's choice. On the other hand, many Americans are deeply troubled by the thought of women using their reproductive freedom to procure abortions — especially serial abortions — for frivolous reasons. What counts as frivolous? Above all, the use of abortion as an after-the-fact form of birth control.

And this judgment, too, makes sense. Before the sexual revolution of the 1960s and '70s, contraception was often hard to come by, while a pregnancy out of wedlock would in most cases lead a woman to be socially stigmatized. That is not true today. Women have more ways than ever to prevent unwanted pregnancies, as well as a greater range of socially acceptable options for dealing with one when it happens. And that means, oddly enough, that the sexual liberation of the past few decades has helped to create an environment in which there are now fewer situations in which choosing to have an abortion seems morally justifiable.

All of these moral considerations contribute to America's conflicted views on abortion. As long as these views remain conflicted, staking out extreme positions will be politically unwise. That certainly holds for anti-abortion absolutists on the Right (especially when they begin speculating about "legitimate rape" and whether some pregnancies following sexual assault are "something God intended to happen"). But it also applies to liberals eager to become champions of an equally absolute right to choose.

Abortion Kills Mom as Well as Unborn Child in Planned Parenthood Clinic
July 2012  In yet another abortion mishap, the life of the mother was lost in the same procedure she chose to murder her unborn child.  This time the botched procedure occurred in a Chicago area Planned Parenthood clinic.

Last Friday, 24 year old Tonya Reaves, the mother of a year old son entered the Loop Health Center Planned Parenthood clinic with the intention of aborting her unborn child.  She evidently signed whatever consent forms the clinic required and then laid her body as well as her life down and prepared for the procedure.

According to Cheryl Sullenger of Operation Rescue:
“She died later that evening of hemorrhage related to a D&E (dilation and evacuation) abortion.  They did the autopsy the following day, and they confirmed that this was an abortion-related death.”

“We believe this is most likely an error on the part of the abortionist, because women do not hemorrhage to death unless there has been some misadventure during the abortion, and if there’s a delay in calling 9-1-1.  We know that she was finally pronounced dead at 11:20 pm.”

I wonder if women having this same D&E procedure are aware of exactly how it is performed.  In most instances, the D&E is done during the second trimester of pregnancy.  Basically, the person performing the abortion does so by disarticulating the unborn child and removing it piece by piece.  How many adults would like to be torn limb from limb and then have the pieces of their body tossed in the medical waste disposal bin?

Illinois allows two types of abortion clinics: pregnancy termination specialty centers and ambulatory surgical center.  The ambulatory surgical centers have to comply with strict standards similar to those of a hospital and the pregnancy termination specialty centers do not have to meet those same high standards.  However, Planned Parenthood uses the ruse that they are a multifunctional facility and that abortions are only a small part of their business, therefore they are not considered to fit either category.  The result is that they have very little regulation and rarely ever see any type of health or government inspections.

Tonya Reaves death is not the only incident of an abortion gone wrong.  Our site has previously reported on a couple of other cases, one in which a woman nearly died and the other where a woman did die.  At one time, hemorrhaging was the third most frequent cause of death from legal abortions.  I haven’t seen any current figures but from what I’ve been reading, I would not be surprised to see that hemorrhaging is now the leading cause of death during legal abortions.

The day Tonya Reaves died at the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Chicago, just happened to be the same day that James Homes killed 12 and wounded 58 people at the movie theater in Aurora, Colorado.  President Obama made it a campaign point to stop in and visit the surviving victims and the families who lost loved ones and extend his campaign felt condolences.

However, when it comes to acknowledging Tonya Reaves, who hails from his hometown of Chicago, the president not only ignored her but told a crowd in Portland, Oregon that he wants his daughters to have the same choices that Tonya had.  Speaking to the Portland crowd on Tuesday, Obama said:

“Mr. Romney wants to get rid of funding for Planned Parenthood. I think that’s a bad idea.  I’ve got two daughters. I want them to control their own health care choices.”

So let me get this straight.  In light of the death of Tonya Reaves, Barack Obama criticized Mitt Romney for wanting to cut funding to an uncontrolled and unregulated Planned Parenthood so they can continue to kill women like Reaves without any recourse.  Worse yet, he wants his daughters to have the same choices to endanger themselves by murdering unwanted babies, most likely the result of careless sex outside of marriage.

If I were one of his daughters, I would be hurt and infuriated that he didn’t care enough to protect me from the dangers of abortion or for suggesting that I take sex and pregnancy that lightly.

If I were a woman in America, I would feel the same way, hurt and infuriated that he doesn’t care enough about the women in our country to take the necessary measures to protect them from harm.

As a man in America, I am not hurt, but I am infuriated that this man, who claims to be a caring leader, cares nothing for the American people, let alone his own daughters.  The only thing Obama cares about is himself.  He doesn’t care about you, me or anyone else.
If I were a painter, I would paint Obama looking in a mirror and title it: Narcissus 2012.

Southern Bapist Convention (once) supported Abortion
5/19/12  Churches shift positions on abortion

Two years before the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, the largest Protestant group in the United States made a powerful statement on abortion.
The Southern Baptist Convention wanted to make it legal.

The members of the convention listed in a 1971 resolution when it should be allowed: “rape, incest, clear evidence of severe fetal deformity, and carefully ascertained evidence of the likelihood of damage to the emotional, mental, and physical health of the mother.”

Three years later, they affirmed that statement and, recognizing the complexities of contemporary society, asked for “God’s guidance through prayer and study in order to bring about solutions to continuing abortion problems in our society.”

By 1980, the middle ground was gone. The Southern Baptists now supported a U.S. constitutional amendment banning abortion except to save a mother’s life.

That reversal was a marker in the rise of the politically potent Christian Right, for which many say abortion has become a proxy for bigger divides in American culture.
Timeline from 1971 on their "stances"

And that was before/shortly after Roe V Wade was made law of the land in 1973, that clarify - they didn't change their stance completely until around 1980.

Abortion Workers Use Scissors to Stab Babies Born Alive
Many abortion advocates have no clue what goes on at the clinics they endorse, nor do they really want to know.  They believe that women have this God-given right to say what happens to their body even if it means murdering an unborn child.
But what about the babies?  Do they have any rights?

Sadly, and profoundly perverse is knowing that many people who favor abortion and the right to kill an unborn child are also animal rights activists.  Many members of PETA are pro-abortion.  They protest and picket cosmetic manufacturers and research labs concerning the treatment of the animals while at the same time they are all in favor in the slaughter of innocent lives that never get the chance to see the light of day.

Vegans won’t eat anything related to animal products, including eggs, milk, meat, fish, poultry or even a clear chicken broth.  They believe to do so is cruel to the animals.  I’ve listened to interviews with vegans who were protesting for the right of a woman to have her unborn baby sucked or dragged out of her body a piece at a time and then stand there and declare it’s cruel kill a chick and eat it. But no, not unborn babies.

UN Report Claims Not Offering Women Abortion Equals Torture
On International Women’s Day, the United Nations is coming under criticism for a report claiming that nations that fail to allow legalized abortion are allowing the “torture and ill treatment” of women.
Juan E. Mendez, the UN’s Special Rapporteur on Torture, and Other Cruel, Inhuman, and Degrading Punishment, says not allowing women a chance to detect fetal abnormalities before birth, and having a chance to kill their baby in an abortion if such problems are detected, is wrong.

“International and regional human rights bodies have begun to recognize that abuse and mistreatment of women seeking reproductive health services can cause tremendous and lasting physical and emotional suffering, inflicted on the basis of gender. Examples of such violations include…denial of legally available health services such as abortion and post-abortion care,” he said in the report, saying he was promoting “the reproductive rights practices in health-care settings that he believes amount to torture or ill-treatment.”

MSNBC Host: ‘I Thank God and Country Abortion Was There to Save Me’
1/25/13  During MSNBC’s “The Cycle” on Friday, co-host Toure celebrated the 40th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision to legalize abortion by telling the story of when he and an old girlfriend decided to have an abortion 15 years ago.
“In some ways that choice saved my life,” Toure said.

He said he was extremely thankful abortion was an option because wasn’t ready to be a dad and going through with the pregnancy would have just made “a mess of three lives” because she “wasn’t the one.”
“I thank God and country that when I fell into a bad situation, abortion was there to save me and keep me on a path toward building a strong family I have now. And I pray that safety net stays in place,” Toure said.
Being able to choose to have an abortion makes for a “stronger America,” he concluded.

Four Doctors: We’re Proud to Be Doing Third-Trimester Abortions
1/23/13  This is one of those stories where it helps to take a deep breath and remember that because of the lies surrounding abortion, many people simply don’t realize what they are defending. Abortion supporters think they are on a moral crusade, one which they would say is about defending women’s rights.

That being said, however, sometimes the gap between “good intentions” and actions is harder to understand. Such is the case when artists set out to tell “a more human” story about abortion, and end up leaving out crucial information that any journalist would naturally find important. This is pretty much the definition of propaganda.

The Los Angeles Times reports:
Premiering today at the Sundance Film Festival as part of the U.S. documentary competition, “After Tiller” is an intimate and heartfelt look at the four doctors performing third-trimester abortions in the United States, doing so even after the 2009 assassination of such a physician, Dr. George Tiller. … the film brings an emotional clarity to an issue in which every nuanced turn of phrase has been made politically complicated.

“Anyone who has proclaimed violence his method inexorably must choose lying as his principle,” is the way Alexander Solzhenitsyn – a man of some emotional clarity – referred to the “nuanced turn of phrase” to hide the slaughter of innocents. Yes, killing human beings en masse does result in, among other things, political complications.

More U.S. women using the "morning-after" pill
2/13/13  WASHINGTON (Reuters) - More U.S. women are taking the "morning-after" pill, but generally just once, according to the government's first report on how the emergency contraception drug has been used since regulators eased access to it in 2006.

About 11 percent of sexually active women, or 5.8 million, used the pill between 2006 and 2010, compared to about 4 percent in 2002, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in its report released on Thursday.

Among those who used the pill during those four years, 59 percent said they took it just once, while 24 percent said they used it twice, the report said. Seventeen percent said they used it three times or more.

Emergency contraception has been available by prescription in the United States since 1999. One version of the morning-after pill, known as Plan B, has stirred the most political controversy.

Plan B, much like regular birth control, stops pregnancy by blocking the release of a woman's egg, or it may prevent fertilization or implantation in the uterus. But it must be taken within days after intercourse to work.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved sales of Plan B to adult women without a prescription in 2006 after years of contentious debate. It later loosened the restriction to include 17-year-olds.

Women's health groups lauded the move as a way to prevent unwanted pregnancies. But conservatives warned it could lead to promiscuity, especially among youth, and more sexual assaults.

Amy Allina of the National Women's Health Network said CDC's findings show morning-after pills are not replacing conventional birth control methods for most women, although "there are some for whom it's clearly not a one-time thing."

Activists are still pressing for over-the-counter access and no age restrictions.

The pill is sold by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd as Plan B. It also is available as a generic. In 2010 the FDA approved another emergency contraceptive called ella, a prescription drug now owned by Actavis Inc.

CDC's findings showed the reasons for emergency contraception use varied depending on race and education levels.

Hispanics and blacks were more likely than whites to report using the drug after unprotected sex. More white women said they used it because they were worried their other birth control method had failed, CDC said.

Those with at least some college education were more likely to use the pill than those with a high school education or less, according to the report, which is based on data from the CDC's National Survey of Family Growth.

"The women who are less likely to have access to healthcare are more likely to say 'I didn't use another method, and I turned to emergency contraception to protect myself,'" said Allina.

Some women may choose to use it occasionally if they cannot afford other methods, she added.

In a separate report on Thursday, CDC looked at overall contraceptive use and found that while the number of women using regular birth control pills has remained flat over time, the use of injections, patches and intrauterine devices has grown.

The number of women whose partners have used condoms also rose, the findings showed.

That trend may reflect increased wariness among Americans to have children amid the 2007-2009 economic recession, the effects of which are still being felt by many, according to researchers at the Guttmacher Institute, which also tracks birth control use.

"At the same time, it can make it harder for people to have access to birth control because of costs," especially for disadvantaged women who face higher rates of unintended pregnancies, said Lawrence Finer, head of domestic research for the reproductive research group.

That situation could change in the wake of the 2010 healthcare overhaul that required health insurers to begin covering birth control last year, although the law faces legal challenges.
Religious groups, particularly Catholics, charge that the provision violates their belief against artificial birth control and are fighting to block it.

Judge strikes restrictions on "morning-after" pill
4/5/13  NEW YORK (Reuters) - A federal judge on Friday ordered the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to make "morning-after" emergency contraception pills available without a prescription to all girls of reproductive age, while blasting top Obama administration officials for interfering with the process.

The ruling in a Brooklyn court is the latest step in the years-long legal saga over the pill known as "Plan B," which has sparked political controversy.

Currently, only women age 17 or older can obtain emergency contraception pills without a prescription. Point-of-sale restrictions require that all women present identification to a pharmacist before obtaining the drug.

In his ruling, U.S. District Judge Edward Korman said the FDA's rejection of requests to remove age restrictions was "arbitrary, capricious and unreasonable."

FDA spokeswoman Erica Jefferson declined to comment on the ruling, saying it was an ongoing legal matter.

The Center for Reproductive Rights and other groups had petitioned the FDA to strike down age and access limits, saying there was no scientific proof that girls younger than 17 could not safely use the drug without supervision.

Nancy Northup, president of the Center for Reproductive Rights, hailed the ruling. "Women all over the country will no longer face arbitrary delays and barriers just to get emergency contraception," she said.

The ruling is also likely to be well received by medical groups like the American Academy of Pediatrics, which recommended last year that pediatricians write advance prescriptions for patients under 17.

But opponents of abortion decried the ruling and warned that the pill's widespread availability could spur criminal activity.

"When these are right out there with the bubble gum, they're going to be part of the date rape cocktail," said Karen Brauer, president of Pharmacists for Life.

Some pharmacists across the United States have refused to dispense emergency contraceptives because it violates their religious faith. Making the pills available over the counter removes the pharmacist's role in dispensing the drug, which Brauer welcomed.

Teva Pharmaceuticals Ltd's Plan B in 1999 became the first emergency contraceptive available for prescription use in the United States. The company also markets Plan B One-Step, a one-pill version of Plan B.

"Teva has received the Court's decision and we are currently reviewing it," said company spokeswoman Denise Bradley. "We have no additional comment at this time."

Emergency contraceptives generally sell for $10 to $80. Although they can work as long as 120 hours after unprotected sex, they are most effective in the first 24 hours.

Sanford Bernstein analysts estimate Teva's 2013 sales for Plan B at just $1.5 million, though, because of generic competition like Next Choice from Actavis Inc.

In 2005 the FDA declined to approve over-the-counter sales of the drug, overruling its panel of outside experts as well as its own scientists.

In December 2011 the FDA reversed that stance and moved to approve over-the-counter sales with no age limits. But Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius overruled it, ordering that girls under 17 could only get the pills with a prescription.

As a result of that policy, women well beyond their teens are often asked to present proof of age to show that they are old enough to purchase the pills without a prescription, Judge Korman said.

In his ruling on Friday, Korman said Sebelius' actions were clearly political.

"Nevertheless, even with eyes shut to the motivation for the secretary's decision, the reasons she provided are so unpersuasive as to call into question her good faith," he wrote.

Representatives of the Department of Health and Human Services were not immediately available to comment on the ruling.

One FDA veteran praised the decision, though.

"This has been a 10-year saga during which the FDA was not allowed to do its role properly, not allowed to make science-based decisions," said Susan Wood.

Wood resigned from the FDA as assistant commissioner for women's health in 2005 over its decision not to approve over-the-counter sales of emergency contraception. She is now director of the Jacobs Institute of Women's Health at George Washington University in Washington.

"This decision gives the FDA the chance to reclaim its ability to make decisions based on science, medicine and evidence," Wood said, "not politics."

Focus on the Family President wants abortion-rights advocate
Focus' Daly wants abortion-rights advocates to help make abortion less common
2/12/2011  THE DENVER POST
Focus on the Family president Jim Daly on Friday said he will bridge a great divide by asking abortion-rights advocates to work with his conservative Christian ministry to make abortion less common.
Reproductive-rights supporters say they want abortion to be legal, safe and rare, Daly said, and so his Colorado Springs-based media powerhouse will try to walk that common ground with them — lessening demand for abortion.

The “let’s talk” offer to reproductive-rights groups signals a sea change in Focus’ uncompromising approach to the abortion issue. It is bound to engender controversy about whether detente advances or hinders Daly’s ultimate goal of making abortion illegal.

However, it is in keeping with his makeover of the house that James Dobson built. Daly has said he wants the ministry, which it says reaches 220 million listeners worldwide with its daily broadcasts, to have more conversations and fewer fights.
And Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains said it is willing to listen.

“As I think about this,” Daly said during his Friday broadcast, “I think about the babies that we’re losing right now because we cannot sit down and say, ‘You want to make it rare — tell us how.’ We won’t agree that (abortion) is safe. We certainly will fight for the day that we can overturn Roe vs. Wade, because we want every life to be sacred.”

In the meantime, Daly said, he wants to work with people who may disagree with Focus but with whom “we can eliminate 10,000, 20,000 or 30,000 of 1.2 million babies lost every year.”

The 1.2 million figure, reported in 2008 by the Guttmacher Institute, originally a division of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, is widely accepted by both abortion-rights advocates and abortion foes.
Guttmacher also reports that 22 percent of all pregnancies, excluding miscarriages, end in abortion.

Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains spokeswoman Monica McCafferty said the organization has been working for more than 90 years to improve women’s options.
“We certainly welcome any opportunity to work with anyone who wants to work on the root causes of unintended pregnancies,” she said. “Most of what we do is prevention.”

Planned Parenthood, McCafferty said, takes a comprehensive approach to preventing unwanted pregnancies through education and improving access to affordable birth control. But abortion, she said, must remain legal.
“We certainly never want to see the day when women can’t make this personal, private decision for themselves,” she said.

Michael Cromartie, vice president of the conservative Ethics and Public Policy Center, said Daly’s outreach is a bold move and likely to be misread by many conservatives.
“I suspect he will take a hit on this,” Cromartie said. “People on the right will say he is giving up. But I think it could be effective.”

Cromartie said Daly just might convince people there are too many abortions in the country.
“I think it’s the kind of step the movement needs to make,” he said.

Focus spokesman Gary Schneeberger said the ministry doesn’t yet have the list of abortion-rights supporters it will contact, but Focus will reach out to that movement.

“It’s something (Daly) is clearly very passionate about,” Schneeberger said. “It’s a ‘Schindler’s List’ moment for us: How many lives can we save on the way to our goal of ending abortion? We don’t know how it will be received.”

Schneeberger said Focus accepts the opposition’s word that it wants to reduce the numbers of abortions.
“I suspect things will happen very quickly. Within the next month, we certainly will have some conversations,” he said. “This is a legitimate attempt to see if there isn’t some overlapping goal.”

Dobson's Successor Praises Obama, Looks for Common Ground
Apr 2013  What did you think of the fatherhood presentation this afternoon?
It was outstanding. There wasn't anything lacking in the president's presentation. He reaffirmed the importance of fathering and the damage done when fathers are lacking in the home. And it's something that is core to Focus on the Family as well. Thought it was gracious for the White House to extend an invitation to Focus on the Family. We're certainly going to have enough areas to disagree on certain policies. But one of the things I want to do as president of Focus is when there is common ground that , we can pull together and say, "This is good. This is a good thing." And personally, I am 47, like the president. I also didn't have a father. So I can identify with what he describes as that hole in your heart. Anything we can do to help kids fill that void, I applaud. It's something we're trying to do every day at Focus and I think it's wonderful for the government to also lend its support in that way.

Planned Parenthood Marks 96th Birthday With 6 Million Abortions
Oct 2012
Planned Parenthood marks its 96th birthday today and one leading pro-life activists who has been a watchdog of the abortion business for decades estimates Planned Parenthood has denied 6 million unborn children birthdays of their own.

“In 2010, Planned Parenthood did 27 percent of all the abortions in the United States. It has ended the lives of over 6,000,000 human beings in its own facilities since 1970. And, during that same time, it collected over $6 billion in taxpayer money,” says Jim Sedlak of American Life League.

Sedlak says Planned Parenthood has a history of preying on black Americans.

“Planned Parenthood Federation of America dates its beginning to Oct. 16, 1916, when Margaret Sanger opened the nation’s first birth control clinic in Brooklyn, New York,” he explained. “Sanger had three basic philosophies that are still active within Planned Parenthood today.

One of those was a passion to prevent the birth of “defectives,” which Sedlak says led to her stating in her 1932 Plan for Peace that persons from “dysgenic groups” should be given their choice of sterilization or confinement on a farm for the rest of their lives. Sanger was a member of the American Eugenics Society.

“Planned Parenthood does not make public the race of its abortion clients anymore. In the 1990s, it revealed that 43 percent of its abortions were on blacks and other minorities – who only made up 22 percent of the population,” he explained.

Today, looking at the most recent figures from Planned Parenthood, it did 329,445 abortions in 2010 while it provided prenatal care to only 31,098 women and referred only 841 women to adoption agencies.

The number of women receiving prenatal care dropped significantly from 2009 to 2010, as the abortion business helped 40,489 women in 2009 — meaning almost 10,000 fewer women received prenatal support from Planned Parenthood last year than the year prior, or a drop of almost 25 percent.

The number of women getting adoption referrals also declined — from a low 977 in 2009 to 841 last year, or a decline of 14 percent. Examined another way Planned Parenthood does 391 abortions for every adoption referral it makes and almost 11 abortions for every woman it helps with prenatal care.

The following chart breaks down this same data by type of service performed:

On December 27, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) released its latest Annual Report for 2009-2010. The report indicates PPFA had a total budget of $1.04 billion and  an excess of revenue over expenses of 18.5 million dollars — a net profit. The new report also reveals 46 percent of the total PPFA budget comes from taxpayer dollars in the form of government funding.

Abortions have increased virtually every year since Planned Parenthood started doing them in the states that legalized abortion prior to Roe v. Wade:

Planned Parenthood launches ‘40 Days of Prayer’ for abortion
Wed Apr 11, 2012
EUREKA, California,
Although Planned Parenthood has frequently complained of pro-life prayer vigils - particularly the biannual 40 Days for Life Campaign - one California Planned Parenthood affiliate seems to have chosen an unusually direct way of countering such efforts.
Last month, Six Rivers Planned Parenthood (SRPP) of Eureka, California, launched a campaign called the 40 Days of Prayer: Supporting Women Everywhere. The campaign, as noticed by Liberty Counsel, lists 40 different prayers for those involved in the “sacred care” of abortions to continue protecting, providing, and embracing the procedure - including mothers, escorts, abortionists, and everyone involved except the unborn children.
Some examples include Day 14, a prayer for “Christians everywhere to embrace the loving model of Jesus in the way he refused to shame women,” and Day 38, for “a cloud of gentleness to surround every abortion facility. May everyone feel calm and loving.”

In 1986, government scientists wrote a letter to the British journal Lancet and acknowledged that abortion is a cause of breast cancer.
They wrote, "Induced abortion before first term pregnancy increases the risk of breast cancer."  (Lancet, 2/22/86, p. 436)
As of 2006, eight medical organizations recognize that abortion raises a woman's risk for breast cancer, independently of the risk of delaying the birth of a first child (a secondary effect that all experts already acknowledge).  An additional medical organization, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, issued a statement in 2003 calling on doctors to inform patients about a "highly plausible" relationship between abortion and breast cancer.  General counsel for that medical group wrote an article for its journal warning doctors that three women (two Americans, one Australian) successfully sued their abortion providers for neglecting to disclose the risks of breast cancer and emotional harm, although none of the women had developed the disease.  Click here for more.

Komen Foundation to Fund 17 Planned Parenthood Affiliates
Earlier this year the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure announced they would no longer contribute to Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider, after it was revealed they were the subject of a government inquiry. But after caving to intense pressure, the group reversed their decision and now plans to financially support at least 17 PP affiliates in 2012.

Komen, which is based in Dallas, Texas, funded 18 affiliates in 2011 for a total of around $680,000. The grants were intended for breast cancer. However, Planned Parenthood does not provide the screenings and has to refer women to other health care providers.
Officials from Komen are disputing the fact that politics played a role in the foundation's decision to fund the group, saying instead the issue was women's health.

"We know that people have been upset and concerned about recent events," Komen spokeswoman Leslie Aun told The Washington Post. "We acknowledged our missteps and apologized. People need to know that we have not and never will walk away from women in need. There is no one filling the gap in services that way that Komen is."
Officials from Planned Parenthood could not be reached for comment.
Still, the controversy has damaged Komen's "Race for the Cure" fundraising efforts since the uproar began.

New Funding for Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz
6/18/12  Another Komen
affiliate is sending thousands of dollars to the nation’s biggest abortion business following the national controversy over Komen’s initial decision, and subsequent reversal, to deny Planned Parenthood funding.
The North Jersey affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure announced Friday that Planned Parenthood is among the recipients of more than $1.2 million in total grants to 18 local organizations. A news report reveals the Komen chapter had given a $20,000 grant to the local Planned Parenthood abortion business last year and chose to renew the grant this year.

Komen North Jersey spokeswoman Kathi Edelson Wolder said Friday the organization had an independent panel review all its grant applications.
“Planned Parenthood was found worthy in terms of its patient education and how they measure up to our priorities in meeting the needs of women and men in our community,” she said.
In a press release Friday, the organization added that this year’s grants are based on a “comprehensive, biannual community profile” conducted in 2011 to make sure the programs address unmet needs.

PP twisting Bible's words to advance agenda
6/13/12  With the focus of part of Planned Parenthood's school sex-ed program being on religion and sexuality, one pro-lifer says the aim is simply to use the Bible to promote an unbiblical agenda.
Planned Parenthood of Illinois works within local public schools, it says, "to ensure that students are provided with medically-accurate, age-appropriate, comprehensive sexuality education." Educational sessions cover health topics like reproductive healthcare, contraception, sexually-transmitted diseases, and religion and sexuality.

The whole purpose of the latter, according to Jim Sedlak of the American Life League (ALL), is to convince clergy, parents and students that "it's okay with God" to have intimate relations for pleasure and eliminate the pro-creation factor.
"It is really an attempt by Planned Parenthood -- much as they try to say that it's okay to have an abortion and God is okay with that -- that the Bible does not have prohibitions against having out-of-wedlock sex and that it is truly okay to do it," Sedlak says.
But as he points out, that fits within Planned Parenthood's agenda to sell contraceptive products, get children involved in intimacy, then direct youngsters to abortion when the contraception fails.

Unfortunately, clergymen are often used to sell the message "that all of these religious people who say that the Bible says you should be abstinent outside of marriage and then faithful to your partner inside of marriage are wrong, that the Bible doesn't say that at all," the pro-lifer laments. "And so they twist all of the phrases and verses in the Bible into making you believe what they want you to believe."
Sedlak goes on to note that few parents know what their children are being taught through the Planned Parenthood curriculum being used in public schools. OneNewsNow also reported recently that the federally funded abortion-provider has set up a clinic on the campus of a high school in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Reading, Writing and Abortion? Planned Parenthood Invades Schools
29 Sep 2012  On an average sweet high school day, somewhere between homeroom and geometry, your daughter can visit Planned Parenthood in the same building. Your son can walk his girlfriend to her locker and then to pick up some abortifacient birth control pills or get a quick shot in the arm that will sort of protect her from maybe getting pregnant. If it should fail, and it likely will, she can take the morning after pill, you know have a quick little abortion at school without your permission! In at least one state, she doesn’t even need permission to be permanently, irreversibly sterilized.

This is not as hypothetical as you would like to believe about your small town or your children. Did you know that your teenager can use the cell phone you pay for to text sex questions and get advice from Planned Parenthood? Can they text you? Do they have an alternative?

If they are not in the actual public high school building yet, Planned Parenthood also provides deceiving, doctrinal, sexual education curriculum that they can come teach at your high school. This ensures every scared thirteen year old has all of their contact information in case of “contraceptive emergency.” They have been doing this for twenty five years.

Sadly, many still argue that it’s better for young mothers in high school to abort instead of having the children they conceive. Schools across the nation agree with this argument and reinforce this belief by providing birth control, skewed sexual education and even abortion. From coast to coast, public high schools promote sexual activity and promiscuity with the false “security” of abortifacient birth control and chemical abortion if all else fails.

I do not claim to know all the answers, but I think I know one thing that might help. Parents, pastors, youth leaders: talk about sex with your youth. Talk about purity. I assure you Planned Parenthood is not afraid to tell your kids what to do if the birth control they provide fails. We should not neglect this subject no matter how difficult it seems. We have to tell them what sex produces. We need to be the voice shouting that life begins at conception, because if we are silent and all they ever hear is that it is tissue, they will believe it. Faith still comes by hearing. I want the youth I influence to hear more about purity and saving sex for marriage from me, than how to practice pre-marital “safe sex” from Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood Mandates Abortions – Affiliates Flee
Dec 2012
By Bob Unruh, WorldNetDaily
A third affiliate of the nation’s leading abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, is leaving the organization because of a demand that all local groups provide abortions starting no later than 2013.
“Planned Parenthood of South Central New York is the latest affiliate to become independent because it won’t comply with the rule,” Marjorie Dannenfesler, president of the Susan B. Anthony List, said in a statement today.
She cited an announcement from the affiliate itself.
“This mandate will no doubt result in an increase in revenue for Planned Parenthood as well as an increase in the more than 329,000 lives the abortion chain ends in one year. Does that sound like women’s health?”
Earlier, several affiliates of Planned Parenthood in Texas abandoned the national abortion leader. Click here to continue reading.

GMA's Amy Robach Diagnosed with Cancer After on-Air Exam
11/12/13  Good Morning America anchor Amy Robach underwent a routine mammogram live on the air last month as part of a segment on women's health. And the procedure may end up saving her life.
On Monday, Robach revealed that when she went to get the results of the screening, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and now plans to have a double mastectomy.
Robach said she was initially reluctant to have the mammogram when producers approached her about it. But she eventually agreed, and had the exam on the air on Oct. 1.

"That day, when I was asked to do something I really didn't want to do, something I had put off for more than a year, I had no way of knowing that I was in a life-or-death situation," she wrote in a blog post Monday. "Sitting in that kitchen with Marie Monville, I had cancer and didn't know it. In fact, I would have considered it virtually impossible that I would have cancer. I work out, I eat right, I take care of myself and I have very little family history; in fact, all of my grandparents are still alive."

Robach says she plans to have the mastectomy on Nov. 14. "Only then will I know more about what that fight will fully entail, but I am mentally and physically as prepared as anyone can be in this situation," she writes. "And while everyone who gets cancer is clearly unlucky, I got lucky by catching it early, and there are so many people to thank for making sure I did. Every producer, every person who urged me to do this, changed my trajectory."

Obama Celebrates Roe vs. Wade Decision, 54 Million Abortions
23 Jan 2012
Barack Obama, today, release a statement celebrating the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision that allowed for 54 million abortions. The decision, handed down on January 22, 1973, overturned pro-life laws offering protection for unborn children in most states across the country, and made abortions legal and virtually unlimited.

The statement Obama released says:
As we mark the 39th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we must remember that this Supreme Court decision not only protects a woman’s health and reproductive freedom, but also affirms a broader principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters.  I remain committed to protecting a woman’s right to choose and this fundamental constitutional right.  While this is a sensitive and often divisive issue- no matter what our views, we must stay united in our determination to prevent unintended pregnancies, support pregnant woman and mothers, reduce the need for abortion, encourage healthy relationships, and promote adoption.  And as we remember this historic anniversary, we must also continue our efforts to ensure that our daughters have the same rights, freedoms, and opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.

House rejects bill penalizing doctors for sex-selective abortions
May 2012
The House on Thursday rejected a Republican bill that would impose fines and prison terms on doctors who perform abortions for the sole purpose of controlling the gender of the child, a practice known as sex-selective abortion.
The Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act (PRENDA), H.R. 3541, was defeated in a 246-168 vote. While that's a clear majority of the House, Republicans called up the bill under a suspension of House rules, which limits debate and requires a two-thirds majority vote to pass. In this case, it would have required more support from Democrats.
Twenty Democrats voted for the bill, while seven Republicans opposed it. The bill would have needed 30 more yeas to pass.
Suspension votes are normally used for noncontroversial bills, but the GOP-backed measure was clearly controversial. Republicans have occasionally put controversial bills on the suspension calendar in order to highlight that Democrats oppose certain policies.

Planned Parenthood: Obama 'has our back' and gets our vote
5/30/12  Saying Barack Obama has "stood with Planned Parenthood time and again when it mattered most," a political action fund affiliated with the abortion-provider has formally endorsed the incumbent president. reports that Planned Parenthood performs 330,000 of the 1.2 million abortions in America each year -- or about one every 97 seconds. But nowhere in today's announcement endorsing the president does the Planned Parenthood Action Fund use the word "abortion," instead using phrases such as "women's health" and "critical reproductive health care services."
"[The president] has been a champion of women's health, working to expand women's access to affordable, quality care," says PPAF. "He's done more for women's health than any president in history ...."
In a video endorsement, PPAF president Cecile Richards goes on the attack against GOP presidential nominee-designate Mitt Romney, describing him as "out of touch" -- and reassuring Planned Parenthood supporters that President Obama "has our back."

If U.N. treaty is ratified, abortion may be strengthened
9/30/12  A United Nations treaty working its way through the U.S. Senate reveals a hidden agenda that could be dangerous to children in the womb.
The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities was conceived to benefit people with disabilities worldwide. Susan Yoshihara of Catholic Family & Human Rights Institute (C-FAM) says the way it was negotiated resulted in troublesome wording.

"[It was] including language that can be used to promote abortion on demand, and in particular, to promote abortion of disabled people," says Yoshihara.
YoshiharaThe spokeswoman says when the treaty was negotiated in the last round six years ago, many people worked hard to make sure there was no language that would specifically promote the homosexual agenda.

"They got a lot of bad language out. However, it doesn't matter what these treaties say these days," Yoshihara recalls.
"It seems that the committees that interpret them will promote whatever agenda they want to promote despite what the nations who negotiated them meant to say when they put the words on paper, and so that's another reason that we're cautioning folks in Washington against ratifying the treaty."

The treaty has been voted out of committee to the full Senate, and if passed even during a lame duck session, it would become the law of the land. It takes a two-thirds vote to ratify, and C-FAM is concerned there might be enough votes to accomplish it.

U.N. calls for Abortion as Human Right for 10-Year-Olds
Oct 2012    Decriminalization of Prostitution for Youth

Y-PEER, a youth initiative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), has issued a call to make access to abortion and contraception an international human right for children as young as 10 years old.
The U.N.-affiliated group also issued what U.N. analysts say is a call for the decriminalization of prostitution and drug use, and for “confidentiality” in health-care services for youth.

The “Joint Youth Statement on the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of Young People” was released in preparation for the U.N. Youth Conference, which began Wednesday in New York.
“In order to fully recognise young people’s sexual and reproductive rights, especially the right to choose, we must achieve universal access to safe and youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health care services, including access to evidence-based comprehensive sexuality education, in formal and non-formal settings,” the document states.
The phrase “reproductive health care services” is shorthand for abortion, which the statement further underscores.

Women who have abortions 'face double the risk of mental health problems
9/1/11  Women who have abortions are at risk of severe mental health problems, according to a study.
The research found that those who undergo abortion face nearly double the risk of mental health difficulties compared with others and that one in ten of all mental health problems was a result of abortion.
*  SURE!  Often women who have killed their young hear the baby crying in their dreams!

Obama HHS Secretary Sebelius to Host Pro-Abortion Fundraiser
9/21/11   Barack Obama’s top health official, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, will host a massive fundraiser for one of the nation’s biggest pro-abortion organizations next month.
With Obama’s polling numbers looking grim, the Obama administration is already cozying up to pro-abortion groups to raise the financial and grassroots support he needs from liberal Democrats in order for the president to have a shot at winning his re-election bid next year. Earlier this week, the chief of staff to First Lady Michelle Obama was the keynote speaker at a NARAL event. Now, Sebelius is headlining a fundraiser for the organization.

Sebelius will be the featured speaker at the 17th annual “Power of Choice” luncheon NARAL is throwing in Chicago at The Standard Club in Chicago, Obama’s stomping grounds, on October 5. The event is clearly a big fundraiser for NARAL as tickets for anyone other than college students and young professionals start at $200 and top sponsorship levels range anywhere from $2,500 to $25,000.
NARAL touts Sebelius’ appearance saying she “is guiding the implementation of the historic Affordable Care Act,” the Obamacare legislation that contains abortion funding and rationing concerns. Although NARAL has been worried about whether Obamacare, once fully implemented, will fund abortions, Bill Saunders of Americans United for Life says there’s no doubt that will happen.

Hospital Told Nurses: Assist Abortions or Lose Your Job
November 2011
A dozen nurses have filed a lawsuit against their employer, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, which told them they had to either assist in abortions or risk losing their jobs.
The Alliance Defense Fund filed a lawsuit on behalf of 12 nurses in New Jersey who work for a hospital receiving federal health funds who were told they needed to assist abortions or be terminated from their employment. The mandate violates several federal conscience laws and state law, ADF senior legal counsel Matt Bowman tells LifeNews.
“Pro-life nurses shouldn’t be forced to assist in abortions against their beliefs,” Bowman told LifeNews. “No less than 12 nurses have encountered threats to their jobs at this hospital ever since a policy change required them to participate in the abortions regardless of their religious objections. That is flatly illegal.”

12 nurses sue over being forced to help with abortions
November 01, 2011  Legal action seeks injunction to prevent coerced duties as early as Friday.
A dozen nurses have filed a lawsuit against a hospital run by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey over a plan that would coerce them to help with abortions, and they want an injunction right away as the hospital has scheduled them to be in the operating rooms as early as Friday.
And the complaint asks that the hospital be told to return some $60 million to the federal government, too.
Federal law prohibits hospitals that receive certain types of federal funds from forcing workers to help with abortions, according to the case brought by the Alliance Defense Fund.

Further, New Jersey law states, "No person shall be required to perform or assist in the performance of an abortion or sterilization."

"Pro-life nurses shouldn't be forced to assist in abortions against their beliefs," said Matt Bowman, legal counsel for the organization. Ohio House OKs 'Heartbeat' Abortion Bill
June 29, 2011  The Ohio House of Representatives passed a bill on Tuesday that could result in one of the toughest and most restricting abortion laws in the country. If signed into law, it would make abortions illegal after a fetal heartbeat is detected, which usually occurs around six weeks after conception.

Ohio Woman Sues Abortionist for Failing to Murder Baby
3/19/13  An Ohio woman has filed a lawsuit seeking monetary compensation after the abortionist she hired last year failed to terminate the life of her now six month old baby. She states she is glad to have the child, whom she calls a “miracle,” but accuses the abortion facility of being shoddy.
Ariel Knights, 22, says that she sought the abortion because she has a medical condition called uterus didelhpys. In laymen’s terms, it means that she has two uteruses — one on the left and one on the right.

Knights discovered that she had the condition during her first pregnancy, but because her son, who is now a preschooler, was implanted in her left uterus, she did not feel as concerned. This time, however, doctors advised Knights that her baby girl was growing in her right uterus, stating that it put her and the baby “at risk.”
Therefore, in March of 2012, Knights went to Akron Women’s Medical Group to seek an abortion.

N.C. Senate overturns Perdue's abortion bill veto
7/28/11  Women must obtain ultrasounds, state-mandated counseling, and wait 24 hours before abortions under new requirements the state approved today.
The state Senate voted 29-19 to cancel Gov. Bev Perdue's veto of a bill that seeks to limit abortions.
The House voted to override earlier this week, so the measure becomes law.
Democrats said the measure interferes in decisions between women and their doctors. Republicans said the requirements make sure women have more information.
Sen. Stan Bingham, a Republican who voted against the bill in June, left the building before the override vote.

ILLINOIS  *  University of Chicago performing abortions on campus
28 Feb 2013
On the official website, the school’s Ryan Center Clinic advertises “comprehensive health care for women seeking abortion services” and lists multiple procedures students may undergo.
It is not unusual for schools to provide contraception or referrals to abortion clinics to students, but UC appears to be one of the only universities in the nation to perform the controversial procedure on campus.
The university offers medical abortions and surgical abortions in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, says the website.
UC declined to say how many abortions are performed by the clinic each year and a spokesperson was not made available to Campus Reform for comment, despite multiple requests.

Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life of America, however, responded to the news of an on-campus abortion clinic in an emailed statement to Campus Reform.
“When 46% of abortions are performed on college-aged women, it is no wonder that abortion facilities decide to set up shop directly on campuses to target their best customers,” she said.
Hawkins added that “abortion is not health care” and said she was saddened to see a school provide abortions on campus.

LOUISIANA Abortuary shut down
5/31/11  Louisiana has shut down a New Orleans-area abortion facility via a new law passed by the legislature.
The Gentilly Medical Clinic for Women, operated by abortionist Ifeanyi Charles Anthony Okpalobi, had a history of unsafe conditions and had been in trouble before.

"The health department tried to close them down last year, but a judge ordered that they could stay open while they appealed," reports Operation Rescue spokesperson Cheryl Sullinger. "Well, the state of Louisiana passed a new law, and the health department closed this abortion clinic under the new law that gives the health department the authority to shut down these places when they have multiple violations."

She points out that Okpalobi had plenty of opportunities to get his clinic up to code.
"This clinic had been a repeat violator for years. They'd been warned over and over again, but they wouldn't fix the things that were wrong, and they continued to operate until the state was finally able to close them down," Sullinger reports.
The new law was not in effect when the state originally tried to shutter the facility.

I hope that means fewer babies killed.
For you with sympathy for the women who kill their babies, may I quote

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

New York Governor Pushing Bill for 3rd-Term Abortions
26 Jan 2013
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is pushing a bill in the New York state legislature that pro-life advocates are aggressively opposing. They say the so-called Reproductive health bill is the “the most sweeping abortion legislation in the nation” because it would  lift limits on third-trimester abortions and allow non-physicians to do abortions.
“Gov. Cuomo’s bill elevates abortion to a fundamental right and says New York state can’t discriminate on abortion in benefits or services or anything else it provides,” said Kathleen Gallagher, the New York’s Catholic Conference director of pro-life activities.
Cuomo’s legislation, she said, would make illegal abortion restrictions, such as parental-notification laws, informed-consent laws, restrictions on taxpayer funding of abortion and abortion bans of any kind,” she said in an interview.

39 Percent Of NYC Pregnancies Result In Abortion  January 2011

Washington state weighs 1st abortion insurance mandate in US
OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — In 1970, Washington became the first — and remains the only — state in the country to legalize elective abortions by a popular vote.
A generation later, and 40 years removed from the landmark United States Supreme Court Roe v. Wade ruling that extended abortion access nationwide, Washington is once again poised to stand out.
With 21 states having adopted bans or severe restrictions on insurance companies from paying for abortions, Washington is alone in seriously considering legislation mandating the opposite.
The Reproductive Parity Act, as supporters call it, would require insurers in Washington state who cover maternity care — which all insurers must do — to also pay for abortions.

Mississippi Ordered Not to Enforce Part of Abortion Law
Apr 2013
Mississippi was barred by a judge from enforcing a regulation requiring abortion clinic doctors to have hospital admitting privileges, which may allow the state’s only abortion clinic to remain open while it fights the law in court.  U.S. District Judge Daniel Jordan in Jackson, Mississippi, said the Jackson Women’s Health Organization faces closure after its physicians were rejected by hospitals. That would place an undue burden on women seeking the procedure because they’d have to travel to another state for a legal abortion, according to Jordan’s order today.

Mississippi’s law, initially set to take effect July 1 of last year, requires physicians associated with an abortion facility also to be certified or eligible in obstetrics and gynecology. Jackson Women’s Health Organization filed suit on June 27, arguing the regulations would violate a woman’s constitutionally protected right to be able to obtain an abortion. The state would be the first in the U.S. without a dedicated abortion clinic if the facility is forced to close.

“The court concludes that the irreparable injuries alleged are sufficiently imminent to justify preliminary injunctive relief at this time,” Jordan wrote. “The threatened injury outweighs any harm that will result if the injunction is granted.”  Jan Schaefer, a spokeswoman for Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood, didn’t immediately return a call and an e-mail after regular business hours seeking comment on the ruling.
The case is Jackson Women’s Health Organization v. Currier, 12-00436, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Mississippi (Jackson).

Texas can't ban Planned Parenthood from health program
4/30/12  A federal judge on Monday blocked a Texas rule that would have excluded Planned Parenthood from participating in the state's women's health program.
In a win for Planned Parenthood, U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel ruled Monday there was sufficient evidence the state rule barring Planned Parenthood is unconstitutional. He imposed a temporary injunction against enforcing it until he can hear full arguments.
The rule forbids state agencies from providing funds to an organization affiliated with abortion providers. It was set to go into effect on Tuesday.
In response to the new rule, Eight Planned Parenthood clinics that don't provide abortions sued the state. The clinics say the law unconstitutionally restricts their freedom of speech and association.

Helping with abortions required by Vanderbilt university
January 11, 2011
Nursing students told to look elsewhere if they can't participate
Agree to do abortions or you can't go to school here
That's the message from Vanderbilt University's nursing residency program, where the school requires applicants to sign a pledge stating they'll participate in abortions.
The Christian legal group Alliance Defense Fund has filed a complaint with the federal Department of Health and Human Services in response stating the policy violates federal law.
The ADF reports that federal law states that any institution that receives federal grants cannot require students to do abortions in violation of their religious beliefs.
ADF spokesman Matt Bowman says it's clear the application misses the mark regarding the regulations.
"Vanderbilt is violating the law by requiring nursing residency applicants to promise to assist in abortions," Bowman explained.

Vanderbilt drops abortion demand
1 day after complaint filed, nursing students freed from requirement
Only one day after WND reported on a complaint filed by a team of Christian attorneys over Vanderbilt University's requirement that nursing students pledge to participate in abortions, the requirement has been dropped.

A statement from Alliance Defense Fund today confirmed the school "modified" its nurse residency application "so that it no longer requires applicants to pledge that they will participate in abortion procedures."
The ADF said the school's announcement came in an e-mail to applicants just a day after the ADF filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

"Christians and other pro-life members of the medical community shouldn't be forced to participate in abortions to pursue their profession. That's what federal law says, and that's why Vanderbilt is doing the right thing in changing its policy and application," ADF Legal Counsel Matt Bowman said in a statement today.
"We will be monitoring the situation to make sure the university continues to comply with the law. It's ironic that Vanderbilt changed its policy one day after denying that it required the pledge," he said.
The school announcement said there had been some publicity about a "misconception" about the school's practice.

Rising Abortion Rate Prompts Calls for More Restrictions -- and Fewer Restrictions
1/12/2011  A liberal abortion-tracking group reports that the near three-decade decline in abortions has reversed course, going up one percent from about 1.2 million abortions in the United States in 2005 to 1.21 million abortions in 2008.
The group says the uptick points to the "need to enact and enforce laws that prohibit the more intrusive forms of harassment” against abortion providers. But a pro-life group said the numbers mask a human tragedy.

In a new report, “Abortion Incidence and Access to Services in the United States, 2008,” the Guttmacher Institute found that there were 19.4 abortions for every 1,000 women in 2005 and 19.6 abortions for every 1,000 women in 2008.
That increase, however, is still below the peak of 29.3 abortions for every 1,000 women in 1981, when there were 1.57 million abortions performed in America. Since 1973, the number of total abortions in America is estimated at 49,551,703, according to the National Right to Life Committee.

The Guttmacher Institute also found that medication-based abortion had gone up 24 percent, from 161,000 to 199,000 between 2005 and 2008.
“That early medication abortion is becoming more widely available is good news,” said Rachel Jones, lead author of the new study. “U.S. government reports have shown that abortions are increasingly occurring earlier in pregnancy, when the procedure is safest. Increased access to medication abortion is helping to accelerate that trend.”

The study looked at women ages 15 through 44.
The increased number of abortions between 2005 and 2008 is all the more reason to reduce restrictions on abortion, according to Guttmacher Institute President Sharon Camp.

“In this time of heightened politicization around abortion, our stalled progress should be an urgent message to policymakers that we need to do more to increase access to contraceptive services to prevent unintended pregnancy, while ensuring access to abortion services for the many women who still need them,” Camp said in a statement.

A pro-life group complained that in reporting the Guttmacher Institute's findings, reporters focused on numbers rather than conveying the loss: "Instead of reflecting on the 1,212,350 unique members of society that America will never know, the headlines all minimized the tragedy that is 'choice,' the Family Research Council said.
"But in terms of casualties -- real human victims -- this "slight rise" means that our country dug 6,150 new graves in 2008. That's more than the entire student population at Yale, Princeton, Brown, or Dartmouth."

To put it in perspective, the Family Research Council used the example of Saturday's mass shooting in Tucson, Arizona: "Who among us, after reading their stories, would say the gunman 'only' killed six victims? Yet somehow, in a society calloused by convenience, it's acceptable to describe the loss of millions of unborn children as 'just' this or that. However political this debate has become, it's important to remember the moral crisis that got us here. And until we address that fundamental problem, these statistics are bound to yo-yo into the new century."
The FRC said one way to reduce the number of abortions in the U.S. is to stop paying for them.

Two lawmakers are trying to do just that. In the first days of the new Congress, U.S. Reps. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) and Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.) introduced the “No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act,” which would prohibit federal funding to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.

The increased number of abortions shows more work needs to be done in Congress and in state legislatures to protect mothers and unborn children, said Jeanne Monahan, director of the Family Research Council's Center of Human Dignity.

“The nation’s abortion rate has declined for many years because of the tireless work of and growth of pregnancy resource centers, pro-life educational campaigns, and the enactment of state laws such as parental notification and informed consent,” Monahan said.

“Recent polls indicate that a majority of Americans now describe themselves as pro-life, and are overwhelmingly opposed to their hard-earned dollars going to pay for abortions,” she added.

Monahan noted that Planned Parenthood disclosed in its 2008-2009 annual report that it had received $363.2 million in government grants and contracts, a $13.6 million increase from the prior year. Also, Monahan noted, Planned Parenthood’s Web site shows that the group performed 324,008 abortions in 2008, up from 305,310 in 2007.

“Claims made by Guttmacher that a slight increase in abortion somehow warrants fewer restrictions on late-term abortions or an increase in restrictions on peaceful protests is absurd,” said Monahan. “How can they say abortion rates aren't high enough?”

The Guttmacher study also reported that there were 1,793 abortion providers in the United States in 2008, up from 1,787 in 2005. Further, the report said that, in 2008, “the overwhelming majority of U.S. counties (87 percent) lacked an abortion provider, and 35 percent of women of reproductive age lived in these counties.”

As for harassment, the report said that 88 percent of abortion clinics “experienced at least one form of harassment in 2008,” including picketing, patient blocking and vandalism.

In conclusion, the Guttmacher Institute said, “it is important to remove barriers to abortion services, especially for low-income women. Only 17 states use their own funds to cover all or most medically necessary abortions for women with Medicaid coverage. If more states did so, or if federal restrictions on Medicaid coverage for abortions were lifted, poor women could more easily access services when confronted with an unintended pregnancy.”
Also, “more states need to enact and enforce laws that prohibit the most overt and damaging forms of harassment and allow access to this legal, needed and basic health care service,” the report stated.

Angry students shout down pro-life display at Florida State U
February 23, 2011
A mob of protesters tried to shout down the recent pro-life Genocide Awareness Project exhibited by the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform on campus at Florida State University.

The Genocide Awareness Project (GAP) is a traveling photo-mural exhibit that compares abortion to historical genocides, such as that which took place in Rwanda.  Set up and facilitated by the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform (CBR), GAP visits university campuses across the United States and Canada to show students the modern day genocide of abortion.

At Florida State University (FSU) hostile crowds of pro-abortion students shouted “my body, my choice” while members of CBR tried to answer questions during an open microphone session.  However, despite the attempts to silence them, CBR succeeded in hearing and responding to dozens of questions from students.

One male student thanked CBR for their presence.  “If me and my ex had seen this two years ago,” he told them, “we would not have done what we did.”

To the crowd of protesters he commented: “How can you guys, honestly, stand here holding these signs saying ‘Get out!’ when you’re doing the same thing: you’re holding up signs, holding up images about, against this… claiming your free speech yet you’re denying them their free speech? How can you do that? How can you deny one person their free speech while exerting yours?”

Alex Holzbach, a student member of the College Republicans, who invited CBR to FSU, said, “We don’t support killing fetus’ because science has determined that they are human beings and we wanna protect the human beings right to life” according to WCTV.

In an address to students, Mike Harrington, executive director for CBR, explained the idea behind GAP. “[Genocide] is the systematic destruction of an individual class of human beings,” Harrington said, according to the FSView, an independent FSU student newspaper. “In this case, it’s the singling out or victimizing of pre-born children because of their age. Abortion is genocide simply because it’s killing the very young and singling them out for extermination.”

One FSU “pro-choice” student said, “I think the pro-life people could have gone about this a different way to express their opinion without having these falsified disgusting images on our campus.”

Another student criticized the brutal depictions of the GAP, calling them “offensive” and “manipulative.”  How, he asked, could CBR compare pictures of genocide in Rwanda to the severed head image of an American abortion?

Stephanie Gray responded by describing her own encounter with a Rwandan woman, most of whose family was killed during the genocide.  The woman, said Gray, pointed to the abortion image and responded, “That’s worse, because at least my family could try to run away.”

“Successful social reformers have always used images of injustice to make their point,” said Harrington in defence of their tactics. “Whether it be civil-rights activists, anti-war protesters, anti-child labor activists - all throughout history, these types of images have been central to outlawing injustice. So, what we’re doing is nothing new.”

“The reason why people get all worked up about it is because it takes the veil off of what many consider to be a constitutional right. It shows what’s being chosen and, because of that, people get very upset. It’s very hard to defend abortion in light of the photographic evidence.

Catholic colleges have ties to Planned Parenthood
April, 2011
The Catholic Church may be officially opposed to abortion and contraception, but a report by a Catholic education watchdog group contends that it has found more than 150 instances of links between U.S. Catholic colleges and universities and Planned Parenthood, the nation’s leading family planning organization and the largest provider of abortion-related services.

The Manassas, Va.-based Cardinal Newman Society said it tracked the links — which include past and present fellowship opportunities, counseling referrals, internships and faculty affiliations — simply through online searches of the schools’ own websites.
“Hopefully this report will serve as a wake-up call for those Catholic college leaders who have repeatedly hit the snooze button on the many alarms that have been raised over the state of Catholic higher education in the past decade,” said Adam Wilson, a spokesman for the Cardinal Newman Society.

The report, titled “A Scandalous Relationship: Catholic Colleges and Planned Parenthood,” was released Monday. Among the schools named were some of the most prominent in Catholic higher education, including Notre Dame, Georgetown, Xavier and Boston College.
Many of the schools listed in the report called the material outdated or overstated, and said many of the examples cited fell far short of any endorsement of Planned Parenthood or its stand on abortion rights.

The evil damned Roman Catholic Church / vatican is a worse scam on humans than Islam
because it has the facade of Jesus but no reality.

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,
men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.
For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude
for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.

1 Timothy 4
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,
through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared,
who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.

NY: Jewish, Christian Leaders Against 41% Abortion Rate
January 2011
Rabbi David Zwiebel and other NYC religious leaders call for new efforts to reduce the city’s abortions. “Abortion has become simply another method of birth control,” the rabbi said.
At a news conference last week, Rabbi Zwiebel, Executive Vice President of Agudath Israel of America, Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan, Roman Catholic bishop of Brooklyn Nicholas A. DiMarzio and others said they were not seeking the abolition of abortion, but rather a reduction in the numbers.

The numbers are indeed startling. In 2009, a full 41% of all pregnancies in New York City - twice the national rate - were terminated by abortion, for a total of 87,274. Among the city’s black women, the rate was close to 60%.

Rabbi Zwiebel asked: “Can anyone in good faith and conscience deny what theses statistics so clearly show – that in fact abortion has become just another method of birth control?  And can anyone deny, in good faith and conscience, that this drags us down as a humane, civilized society?”

Between 2000 – when there were 94,466 abortions - and 2009, well over 900,000 abortions were performed in New York City, Rabbi Zwiebel added.

Archbishop Dolan said it was unlikely that abortions would disappear, but added, “We have to tell people what is happening here. I’m frankly embarrassed to be a member of a community where 41 percent of pregnancies are

Rabbi Zwiebel was sharper: “We can all debate whether abortion is justified in certain circumstances, and precisely what those circumstances might be… But despite our different perspectives, we can all agree that there is something terribly wrong when abortion becomes just another method of birth control.”

“Each of us may have his or her own ideas about how to reduce the abortion rate,” the rabbi said.  “From our perspective at Agudath Israel of America, and our experience in the Orthodox Jewish community, the best approach of all is to take steps to change the culture in which our young people are growing up – a culture that glorifies promiscuity and mocks responsibility – or at least shield our impressionable youth from the harmful influences of that culture.”

In Israel, alongside 150,000 Jewish births each year, the official number of annual abortions is between 19,000-20,000 (mostly Jewish), and a New Family poll shows another estimated 28,000 illegal abortions. The Efrat organization of Jerusalem, which works to reduce the number of abortions via education and offering financial help to mothers considering abortions for financial reasons, finds no comfort in the fact that these numbers are not as extreme as in New York.

Ruth Tidhar, MSW, who heads Efrat’s team of close to 3,000 volunteers, says, “The number of abortions has remained steady for years, despite the rising number of births, and despite the absorption of a million immigrants from the former Soviet Union where abortion is practically a form of birth control… That’s quite an achievement, and Efrat has a very important role in that.”

Tidhar told Israel National News that in addition to working with social workers around the country, Efrat received 30 “SOS calls” over the past three days alone regarding women considering abortions. Bottom line: “Efrat saves 4,000 babies a year,” Tidhar says, “but we have to do more.”

The New York Times reported that a dozen National Organization for Women members protested outside the NYC press conference, which was coordinated by the Chiaroscuro Foundation, a nonprofit group financed privately by investment banker Sean Fieler. He said his foundation plans to spend about $1 million this year to open counseling centers and give financial help to pregnant women.

Rise in abortions during recession stalls longtime drop
1/10/2011  The long-term decline in the U.S. abortion rate stalled as the recession took hold, according to the latest comprehensive survey of America's abortion providers.
The Guttmacher Institute, which periodically surveys U.S. abortion providers, reported Tuesday that there were 1.21 million abortions in 2008 and a rate of 19.6 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15 to 44.
Both figures were up slightly from the 2005 survey, ending a steady decline since 1990, when U.S. abortions peaked at 1.6 million and the abortion rate was 27.4.
One possible factor was the recession that hit in 2008, altering the financial prospects for many families.
"Abortion numbers go down when the economy is good and go up when the economy is bad, so the stalling may be a function of a weaker economy," said University of Alabama political science professor Michael New. "If the economy does better, you'll see numbers trending down again."

P. Parenthood affiliates must do abortions
Jan 12, 2011
Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the country's leading abortion provider, has made a move that will likely increase its share of the market in the lethal procedure by requiring each of its affiliates to offer abortions in at least one clinic.
A Planned Parenthood spokeswoman confirmed abortions will be provided in a clinic of each affiliate in the country, The Daily Caller reported. A waiver may be acquired, however, in the case of "unique local circumstances," said Lisa David, a senior vice president for the organization.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America has 95 affiliates and 865 health centers, according to its latest annual report, which covers the 2008-09 fiscal year. Under the new rules, at least one clinic per affiliate must perform abortions, a Planned Parenthood spokeswoman told The Daily Caller.

Pro-Abortion Vandals Turn Pro-Life Display Into Satanic Scene
28 Apr 2011
Last week, during the Holy Week leading up to Easter, a group of pro-abortion activists vandalized and desecrated a Christian pro-life display students at Clarion University put up at their Pennsylvania campus.
The display, called the Cemetery of the Innocents, features crosses erected to memorialize the 53 million unborn children who have been killed in abortions since Roe v. Wade allowed virtually unlimited abortions in 1973.

In their attack, pro-abortion students vandalized the Clarion University Students for Life display by turning the crosses upside-down to form satanic symbols, and they dripped fake blood over many of the crosses the took up from the ground and placed in a pile. The abortion advocate then wrote the word “Pro-Choice” in the “blood” on the sidewalk in front of the sign the pro-life students put in front of their display to explain its meaning.

Kristan Hawkins, the director of Students for Life of America, described the desecration to
“In a breathtaking public display of anti-Christian and anti-Life motivations, 350 crosses were pulled up and re-inserted in inverted fashion, a well-known anti-Christian symbol,” she explained. “Additionally, red paint was splattered on crosses and signs. Even eerier was the mock bloody footprints of an infant painted in front of the display.”

“Vandalism of pro-life displays on campus is not uncommon, but this incident takes pro-choice vandalism on campus to a whole new level,” Hawkins continued. “It is revolting to think that anyone would desecrate a display in this way, most especially with red paint to imitate blood. Clarion University must take a strong stand against this disgusting, intolerant, and hate-filled act.”

Last week was Clarion Students for Life’s annual “Life Week” and, each year, the pro-life group organizes a Cemetery of the Innocents Display in the middle of campus. They have 350 crosses and two signs explaining that each cross represents 10 children aborted every day. The vandalism is nothing new, Hawkins says.

“Every year, Clarion SFL experiences some sort of vandalism – broken crosses or knocked over crosses – during their Life Week,” she said. “Members of Clarion’s Students for Life group see an anti-Life motivation to this vandalism, but also an anti-Christian motivation as well. The inverted cross has long been a symbol of anti-Christian and anti-religious sentiments.” contacted Clarion University for comment and a phone message has not yet been returned.
The vandalism at the Pennsylvania university comes one month after vandals burglarized and virtually destroyed a pregnancy center in the South Bronx. Chris Slattery, founder and president of Expectant Mother Care-EMC FrontLine Pregnancy Centers emailed about the incident.

“Our main office in the South Bronx was burglarized again.  This is the second time this has happened in the past 12 months,” he said. “They broke into our facility through the second story window, stole over $5,000 worth of equipment, and virtually destroyed the office.”

Pictures Slattery sent show property and possessions at the center strewn about the office and the vandals ripped up wooden planks from the floor and tossed them around the center.
“The rampage of these heartless criminals shattered windows, stole all of our audio visual equipment, destroyed displays and supplies, tore up the ceiling, doors, and floor,” he said. “They even broke into our supply closet and stole our Pampers.”

Dear Lord, help me make it out of the womb - ALIVE!

Abortion workers turning  pro-LIFE!
Abortion rights activists have long preferred to hold themselves at some remove from the practice they promote; rather than naming it, they speak of “choice” and “reproductive freedom.”
But those who perform abortions have no such luxury. Instead, advances in ultrasound imaging and abortion procedures have forced providers ever closer to the nub of their work.

Especially in abortions performed far enough along in gestation that the fetus is recognizably a tiny baby, this intimacy exacts an emotional toll,
stirring sentiments for which doctors, nurses, and aides are sometimes unprepared.

Most apparently have managed to reconcile their belief in the right to abortion with their revulsion at dying and dead fetuses,
but a noteworthy number have found the conflict unbearable and have defected to the pro-life cause.

In the aftermath of Roe v. Wade, second-trimester abortions were usually performed by saline injection.
The doctor simply replaced the amniotic fluid in the patient’s uterus with a saline solution and induced labor,
leaving it to nurses to dispose of the expelled fetus.

That changed in the late 1970s, when “dilation and evacuation” (D&E) emerged as a safer method. Today D&E is the most common
second-trimester procedure. It has been performed millions of times in the United States.

But although D&E is better for the patient, it brings emotional distress for the abortionist, who, after inserting laminaria that cause the cervix to dilate, must dismember and remove the fetus with forceps. One early study, by abortionists Warren Hern and Billie Corrigan, found that although all of their staff members “approved of second trimester abortion in principle,” there “were few positive comments about D&E itself.”

Reactions included “shock, dismay, amazement, disgust, fear, and sadness.” A more ambitious study published the following year, in the September 1979 issue of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, confirmed Hern and Corrigan’s findings. It found “strong emotional reactions during or following the procedures and occasional disquieting dreams.”

Another study, published in the October 1989 issue of Social Science and Medicine noted that abortion providers were pained by encounters with the fetus regardless of how committed they were to abortion rights. It seems that no amount of ideological conviction can inoculate providers against negative emotional reactions to abortion.

Such studies are few. In general, abortion providers have censored their own emotional trauma out of concern to protect abortion rights. In 2008, however, abortionist Lisa Harris endeavored to begin “breaking the silence” in the pages of the journal Reproductive Health Matters. When she herself was 18 weeks pregnant, Dr. Harris performed a D&E abortion on an 18-week-old fetus. Harris felt her own child kick precisely at the moment that she ripped a fetal leg off with her forceps:

Instantly, tears were streaming from my eyes—without me—meaning my conscious brain—even being aware of what was going on. I felt as if my response had come entirely from my body, bypassing my usual cognitive processing completely. A message seemed to travel from my hand and my uterus to my tear ducts. It was an overwhelming feeling—a brutally visceral response—heartfelt and unmediated by my training or my feminist pro-choice politics. It was one of the more raw moments in my life.

Harris concluded her piece by lamenting that the pro-choice movement has left providers to suffer in silence because it has “not owned up to the reality of the fetus, or the reality of fetal parts.” Indeed, it often insists that images used by the pro-life movement are faked.

(Pro-choice advocates also falsely insist that second-trimester abortions are confined almost exclusively to tragic “hard” cases such as fetal malformation. Yet a review of the literature in the April 2009 issue of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology found that most abortions performed after the first trimester are sought for the same reasons as first-trimester abortions, they’re just delayed. This reality only intensifies the guilt pangs of abortion providers.)

Abortion was started by the occult, b/c it was part of their child sacrifice rituals.

It appears we are well on this path to destruction.  It is the communist manifesto.   Sad

10 Steps To Destroying American Society
Feb 2010
Rewrite the Constitution and break down its firewalls through Judicial and Bureaucratic fiat. (Free speech and gun ownership are under attack, as well as churches under 501c3 IRS government regulations with possible non-profit status in question.)

Concentrate all meaningful power in the Federal Government. (DUH!! Nationalization of GM and Chrysler, as an example, plus so-called bailouts in the TRILLIONS,,,not millions).

Suppress and Repress the Individual by attacking his Unalienable Rights through laws and constant torment. (Too numerous to count.)

Eliminate Private Property through Confiscatory Taxation and Regulation and wage constant war against Business Enterprises and Entrepreneurs. (Carbon tax, green machine lie. Cap and Trade bills, that would triple your utility bills.)

Control Institutions of Education at all levels and turn them into Indoctrination Centers for the State. (Where is Jesus in the modern school? However, Muslim teachings are mandatory in some school systems!!)

Change the Citizenry by opening National Borders to virtually all comers and changing the qualifications for Citizenship to include mostly poor, uneducated illegal aliens. (Duh!!!! Six thousands murders are carried out by illegal aliens every year, and growing. California is about to release 6000 criminals before their time is up due to budget restraints.)

Destroy the Private Financial Institutions that have funded the Greatest Production and Accumulation of Wealth for the Most People the World has ever known. (Bank holiday soon??? The banks are propped up on thin air right now. The world is going away from the USA dollar. Hundreds of banks have failed and 4-5 banks fail every week. China is floating the idea of a one world currency. The USA government spends $2 for every $1 it takes in now, so it prints the other $1 out of thin air. The entire wealth of Americans will not cover the national debt, many times over. Each USA baby, man, woman and child would still owe $248.000 or there about, per year, for many years.)

Destroy Capitalism and replace it with Redistributive Policies by Destroying the currency and Replacing it with a new currency or Revaluing the old currency. (Currency devaluation is already in the works. The dollar is dead. The USA debt is unsustainable. We are owned by China and Japan. Major banks have been told to prepare for the new currency and make space available this year.)

Eliminate American Sovereignty through arrangements and agreements with Foreign Countries and International Bureaucracies. (Another DUH! Much sovereignty signed over to UN this past Dec. by O. Meetings like Copenhagen are going on, based on the climate lie, but are actually sovereignty issues, treaties, and agreements.)

Use American Foreign Policy not to improve American Economic and National Security, but to advance the Notion of One Government Globalize. (Shades of George Bush, Sr. >> One world, elitism, NWO agenda is population reduction.)

 -  And they did it very subtlely - when LBJ passed that 501c3 option for churches legislation in '54, little did anyone know that the *IRS* became the new head of the church(hence pushing Jesus out of the way). No excuses though - the reason why alot of them did it was b/c they were tempted by these offering Sch A deductions on their tax returns. Didn't Jesus say when you give alms, let not your left hand know what you're right hand is doing, and do it in private where your Father will reward you openly?

Greg Dixon, a pastor in Indiana, had the guts to speak out against 501c3 church entities, but it came at a big price, as he lost his entire church
(the government took away the building and land, everything). May the Lord bless this man's soul. His rewards will be great in heaven.

Last I checked, most states are REQUIRING that public universities have their students take Biology. It's pretty obvious -
Biology teaches EVOLUTION, which is part of the NWO agenda against Christianity.
Thankfully, I went to a Catholic HS(I know, this is a Mother of Harlots described in Rev, but nonetheless,
they were dogmatic back then about ungodly stuff like abortion, gay rights, evolution, etc), and a private university.

Did Isaiah predict abortion in the latter days?

Isaiah 13:18 (King James Version)
Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces
and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb
their eyes shall not spare children.

This entire chapter talked about the Oracle concerning Babylon
the more and more I think about it, the more I feel
"Mystery Babylon" described in Rev 18 is the United States.
If anything, this verse is the clincher.

Isaiah 13   Multiple translations

October 7, 2010
By Coach Dave Daubenmire,
Michele and I became grandparents for the first time this week. A birth of a child is a miraculous thing to witness; an experience that makes the existence of God so real.
Little Reese Michele has already impacted the lives of her family in ways that cannot even be expressed.

“Happy is the man that hath his quiver is full.” Lot’s of smiling going on in our family today.

I had the joy of holding my seven-pound butter-cup for an extended period last night and couldn’t help but acknowledge the natural affinity to love this new little creature. All babies are loveable, but there is something deep about the natural love one has for his own progeny.

How is it possible to so love someone you have just met? God only knows…

I was struck by how helpless she was…how totally dependant she was on others. I guess it is what Jesus meant when he told the grown-ups “unless you become as little children.” Just as “Reese’s Pieces” is dependant on the adults in her life, total dependency on God is a safe place to be. It is peaceful to rest in that assurance.

As I looked into her tiny little face my thoughts drifted to the scourge of abortion.

“Lord,” I thought to myself. “How could anyone kill one of these little babies?” Soon the answer came.

“Because Christians don’t hate abortion. Abortion would end tomorrow if the Church demanded it to stop.”

My internal conversation continued. “But there are millions of pro-life people in America. Why do we permit these innocent little creatures to be slaughtered?”

“Yes” the other voice answered. “There are many who claim to be pro-life, but they do not hate abortion. God hates hands that shed innocent blood. Until His people share that hatred, abortion will continue.

Hate is a good thing. In fact, it is a powerful motivator. In this greasy-gracey Christianity that we practice today most of the practitioners don’t even know that the Lord hates. It was his idea you know?

Do you hate abortion or are you merely “pro-life?”

In our daily prayer time this morning Michele and I came across this gut-wrenching scripture from Jeremiah.

“Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.”

These words were spoken by Jeremiah at the gates of the church! (Jer. 7:2)

Christians love to hide behind slogans. “Pro-life,” “anti-abortion,” “traditional marriage” “values voters,” “conservative Republicans,” are examples of “political positions” that Christians substitute for action.

The Church is responsible for the legalization of abortion. Only the church can stop it. That is the job that Jesus mandated to the church.

I support the Tea Party movement. In fact, I think I was a Tea Party member before there was a Tea Party. I am excited about the prospects that lie ahead as American’s begin to awaken from their self-imposed slumber.

Anger is the fuel powering the Tea Party train. Mom and Pop America are distraught over what has happened to their nation and they are hitting the streets to reclaim for their children the inheritance that their generation has spent. But in so many ways they are missing the target.

Their anger is directed at “government” but they fail to recognize the cause of the slide into socialism. They are fighting hard but there are merely treating symptoms. Their anger at healthcare, illegal immigration and the declining economy is well intentioned and justifiable, but they have not made the logical leap between cause and effect.

Every one of the issues that we are dealing with is directly related to the slaughter of the unborn.

If we hadn’t murdered 50 million little tax payers social security would not be in trouble.

If we hadn’t permitted the murder of 50 million little baby boys and baby girls we wouldn’t have a need for “undocumented” workers to do the jobs that “Americans don’t want to do” thereby importing new tax-payers to fund our selfish let-the-next-generation-pay-for-it lifestyle.

If the church had stood up and defended the sanctity of all life older Americans would not be facing the prospect of government imposed “death panels.”

Failure to stand for the “least of thy brethren” has opened the door for the government to “do it unto you.”

Paul warned us “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

The American experience is on life support because we have not protected our progeny.

It is apparent that Americans hate the intrusion of big government because they are pushing back against it.

They hate the government forcing healthcare upon them so they march to Washington.

They hate the higher taxes our elected officials are placing on hard-working Americans so they fight to elect new representatives.

They hate paying for illegal immigrants so they march for the closing of the borders.

They hate the fact that our elected officials are not obeying the US Constitution so they organize into “patriot groups” to hold our officials accountable.

But they don’t hate the fact that unborn babies are denied their inalienable right to life.

No life, no liberty. No life, no pursuit of happiness.

They don’t hate abortion as much as they love their own liberty and their own selfish pursuit of happiness.

The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.

For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

God is not just pro-life. He hates abortion. We would do well to respond likewise.
Until abortion ends America’s woes will continue.
Child killing will not end until Christians hate abortion.

Hating Abortion
9 Oct 2010   John,  That article is so true. The Church should be out there fighting for the lives of the slaughtered innocents. Yet when my kids were in 'youth group' and wanted to do Pro Life ministries, they were discouraged! Yep, you read that right..."Pro Life T-shirt Day"? *might get kids in trouble at school*, volunteering with the local Crisis Pregnancy Center? *they have enough volunteers, thanks*, Bringing in guest speaker to teach kids what the schools will not (like common sense prenatal development)? *might upset some of the kids*. They were afraid. We are lucky that there is no abortion clinic in our County, but the local "Family Planning" run by the State just sends girls to the neighboring County. We do have the highest teen pregnancy rate in the State tho...but at least they aren't slaughtered!

What people fail to realize is that this is, pure and simple, SACRIFICES on the altar of Baal. Seriously. The same reason those ancient people threw their firstborn into the brazen hands of the idol to be cradled at is roasted alive, are the same reasons people give for having an abortion. It's always a selfish, 'me first' mentality that satan whispers into the ears of these young has to do with money, career, school, activities...People like George Tiller, the biggest provider of late term abortions, would perform these murders up to the delivery date, sometimes for something as trivial as 'the emotional distress of missing prom'! This man (actually more of a devil that a human), would rip an innocent child from the safety and security of it's mother's womb for pay (isn't that called a 'hit man'?)....and he became very wealthy for it. Unfortunately, you can't dance with the devil and not get the most ironic twist, he was gunned down in what should have been a safe place, a church. But honestly, how safe can it be if they considered him an upright, outstanding citizen who just wanted to help women? That is the kind of Christianity that is infecting The Body.

When my daughter was a full time Pro-Life activist/writer/photographer, she said one of the most disturbing protests she took part in was at a clinic right across the street from a mainstream church. I guess this clinic was open on Sundays to meet the busy schedules of working women. When her group was set up with their 'developmental charts' along the road, suddenly they were basically under verbal attack...BY THE CONGREGATION!!! They had moms cussing them out from their cars, they had people yelling vile things as they walked into the church building...she said it was so surreal! Instead of the church taking advantage of the location & using it as a ministry tool, they just turned a blind eye to the murders being done just across the street. She said it was so perverse.

But, as the article says, people may be 'pro-life' or even 'anti-abortion', but they haven't come to the HATE that we need to muster up to tackle this holocaust of the innocent.

As falling rain are the tears of God for the blood spilled of the unborn children, which covers the hands of the human race.

I have seen God cry when rocking little babies in His big loving arms.

As a strong earthquake, His fingers tremble when caressing the faces of the planted seed destroyed before it had a chance to grow roots.

Right to choose it’s called; what a strange symphony of empty words, before Him the truth is always known.  Right to choose it’s called, but before God’s eyes is right to commit murder.

The drops of blood are still falling today staining the cold steel of the doctors’ tables.  The silent scream of those without voice covers the entire earth and the tiny hands of them without choice reach out to those who have closed eyes to their pleas.

Please give me a chance to prove you right.  Let me take a breath of fresh air, let me bring a smile to your face, let me give you a reason to live, allow me to be the hope of your aging years.

Please give me a chance, let me draw a picture of you, let me play with your hair, let me cover your cheeks with my kisses; allow me to paint butterflies on the sky of your world.

Please give me a chance, let me bring you my report card, let me introduce you to my bride, let me show you your grandchild; allow me to be God’s gift to you.

Please give me a chance, don’t discard me as a mistake, don’t throw me away as a defective toy, don’t put me to sleep before I am awake, don’t toss me out as a dirty rag, please, mom, give me a chance.

Your unborn child

Does a Belief In Evolution Lead to Racism?
Jan 2014
If you are racist, there is a very good chance that you also believe in the theory of evolution.  In fact, many of the most famous racists of the past 100 years were hard core Darwinists.  Of course this is not always true.  For example, there are millions of radical jihadists in the Middle East that hate all Jews and want to wipe them off the face of the planet.  But in general, if someone has a belief in evolution it is more likely that person will be a racist.  You see, if you believe that everyone is created by God and is greatly loved by God, then there are no “inferior races”.  We are just the “human race” made up of individuals that have been created in the image of God and that are exceedingly valuable.  The second greatest commandment in the Bible is to love one another, and that leaves no room for racism at all.  But if you believe that we are all just a bunch of highly evolved animals, that is a different story altogether.  The logical conclusion is that some groups have “evolved” at a much slower pace than others and are thus “inferior”.  This is what Charles Darwin believed, and this is what prominent disciples of Charles Darwin throughout history have believed.

For instance, just consider what Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, believed.  She was convinced that sterilizing races that were less “evolved” was only rational…

Sanger believed she was ‘working in accord with the universal law of evolution’.  She maintained that the brains of Australian Aborigines were only one step more evolved than chimpanzees and just under blacks, Jews and Italians.  When arguing for eugenics, Sanger quoted Darwin as an authority when discussing ‘natural checks’ of the population, such as war, which helped to reduce the population.  Her magazine even argued for ‘state-sponsored sterilization programs’, forcibly sterilizing the ‘less capable’.

She was a hard core racist, but this is not publicized by Planned Parenthood today.  The following is one of her most disturbing quotes that I shared in one of my previous articles…

Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.”

And she focused hard on setting up her “clinics” in minority communities.  By doing so, she hoped “to stem the rising tide of color”…

As her organization grew, Sanger set up more clinics in the communities of other ‘dysgenic races’—such as Blacks and Hispanics.  Sanger turned her attention to ‘Negroes’ in 1929 and opened another clinic in Harlem in 1930.  Sanger, ‘in alliance with eugenicists, and through initiatives such as the Negro Project … exploited black stereotypes in order to reduce the fertility of African Americans.’  The all-white staff and the sign identifying the clinic as a ‘research bureau’ raised the suspicions of the black community.  They feared that the clinic’s actual goal was to ‘experiment on and sterilize black people’.  Their fears were not unfounded: Sanger once addressed the women’s branch of the Klu Klux Klan in Silver Lake, New Jersey, and received a ‘dozen invitations to speak to similar groups’.  Flynn claims that she was on good terms with other racist organizations.

Sanger believed the ‘Negro district’ was the ‘headquarters for the criminal element’ and concluded that, as the title of a book by a member of her board proclaimed, The Rising Tide of Color Against White World Supremacy, was a rise that had to be stemmed.  To deal with the problem of resistance among the black population, Sanger recruited black doctors, nurses, ministers and social workers ‘in order to gain black patients’ trust’ in order ‘to limit or even erase the black presence in America’.

**FYI, Martin Luther King, Jr supported Sanger too. I've always wondered why the black population has never been aware of the agendas of abortion o Margaret Sanger.

Today, the U.S. government gives hundreds of millions of dollars to the organization that she founded every single year.

That is absolutely sickening.

Another very prominent racist who was also a hard core Darwinist was Adolf Hitler.  The following are a couple of excerpts from Richard Weikart’s book entitled “Hitler’s Ethic: The N@zi Pursuit of Evolutionary Progress“…

In 1938 the Ministry of Education published an official curriculum handbook for the schools. This handbook mandated teaching evolution, including the evolution of human races, which evolved through “selection and elimination.” It stipulated, “The student must accept as something self-evident this most essential and most important natural law of elimination [of unfit] together with evolution and reproduction.” In the fifth class, teachers were instructed to teach about the “emergence of the primitive human races (in connection with the evolution of animals).”

The opening pages explained that the central concepts underlying racial ideology are hard heredity and racial inequality. Then it claimed that racial inequality has come about because evolution proceeds by struggle. Different races simply do not evolve at the same pace, so they are at different levels. The authors then asserted that the three main human races – European, Mongolian, and Negro – were subspecies that branched off from a common ancestor about 100,000 years ago. They argued that races evolved through selection and elimination, and the Nordic race became superior because it had to struggle in especially harsh conditions. Throughout this pamphlet the terms “higher evolution,” “struggle for existence,” and selection are core concepts that occur repeatedly.

Are you starting to get the picture?

And almost every major biography of Hitler acknowledges the same thing…

The standard biographies of Hitler almost all point to the influence of Darwinism on their subject. In Hitler: A Study in Tyranny, Alan Bullock writes: “The basis of Hitler’s political beliefs was a crude Darwinism.” What Hitler found objectionable about Christianity was its rejection of Darwin’s theory: “Its teaching, he declared, was a rebellion against the natural law of selection by struggle and the survival of the fittest.”

John Toland’s Adolf Hitler: The Definitive Biography says this of Hitler’s Second Book published in 1928: “An essential of Hitler’s conclusions in this book was the conviction drawn from Darwin that might makes right.”

In his biography, Hitler: 1889-1936: Hubris, Ian Kershaw explains that “crude social-Darwinism” gave Hitler “his entire political ‘world-view.’ ” Hitler, like lots of other Europeans and Americans of his day, saw Darwinism as offering a total picture of social reality. This view called “social Darwinism” is a logical extension of Darwinian evolutionary theory and was articulated by Darwin himself.

If you talk to most racists today, they will use terms such as “subhuman” or “savages” to describe the groups that they do not like.

The unspoken implication is that those groups are “inferior” because they evolved that way.

Anyone that thinks like that is an idiot.

But perhaps it should not be surprising that people buy into such ridiculous theories since we are getting dumber as a society.  In fact, one very prominent evolutionist just came out with two new papers claiming that humans have been getting dumber for thousands of years…

Are humans becoming smarter or more stupid? Comparing our modern lives and technology with that of any preceding generation, one might think we are becoming increasingly smarter. But, in two papers published in Trends in Genetics, Gerald R. Crabtree of Stanford University claims that we are losing mental capacity and have been doing so for 2,000–6,000 years! The reason, Crabtree concludes, is due to genetic mutations—which are the backbone of neo-Darwinian evolution.

Professor Crabtree is convinced that this loss of mental capacity is the result of mutations which have accumulated in our genes…

Based on data produced by the 1000 Genomes Project Consortium and two recent papers in Nature, Crabtree estimates in the first article that, in the past 3,000 years (approximately 120 generations), about 5,000 new mutations have occurred in the genes governing our intellectual ability. He claims most of these mutations will have no effect, while about 2–5 percent are deleterious and “a vanishingly small fraction will increase fitness.” Crabtree bases his conclusion that humankind is losing mental capacity on the ratio between the deleterious and the beneficial mutations. (One critic calls this a “back-of-the-envelope calculation;” but if Crabtree’s objective is a reasonable order-of-magnitude estimate, then he seems to have achieved that.)

In the second article, Crabtree moves away from the science of genetics and moves into anthropology, which he admits is “not [his] area of expertise.” He opines that humanity began losing intellectual abilities with the advent of agriculture and permanent communities 3,000 years ago because such a change would “tend to reduce the selective pressure placed on every individual, every day of their life.”

This is actually just more evidence that confirms the theory that I wrote about in my previous article entitled “The Human Race Is Dying: DNA Degeneration Would Eventually Lead To The Total Extinction Of Humanity“.  With each passing generation, we lose more DNA information and we accumulate more harmful mutations.

Given long enough, at some point the human race would no longer be able to produce viable offspring.
Of course all of this points to the fact that we were created and that humanity is in a long process of decaying because of sin, but most people today prefer to believe in the fairy tale of evolution even though the hard science simply does not support it.

Sadly, these days many people will believe just about anything.  For example, check out all the people that are willing to believe that President John F. Kennedy just died in a car accident.

So what do you believe?

For the last 3 years, we've been discussing this Hosea 4:3 prophecy coming to pass(which talks about how birds, fish, and other flock of animals dying in greater masses in the end times).

Just read what verse 2(above it) says...

Hosea 4:1  Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
Hos 4:2  By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
Hos 4:3  Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

Marvel not that these Wendy Davis types are grabbing the national spotlight now(and THAT in "conservative" states like Texas, that is, not "liberal" ones like California/Vermont). And marvel not that the evil that we're witnessing is really happening.
Planned Parenthood in Alaska sues state official over abortion

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Planned Parenthood in Alaska sued the state health commissioner on Wednesday over new regulations that prevent state Medicaid from covering elective abortions.

The new regulations, set to go into effect on Sunday, require abortion doctors who receive Medicaid payments to certify that a procedure is "medically necessary" to prevent serious risk to the woman's health, or that the patient is a victim of rape and incest.

The group, Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest, is seeking to have the regulations struck down as an unconstitutional violation of equal protection, said Planned Parenthood spokesman Joshua Decker.

The lawsuit also seeks to prevent the state from enforcing the regulations.

Decker said the regulation will illegally restrict low-income Alaskans' access to abortion services.

Decker said a 2001 Alaska Supreme Court decision ruled that the state must fund medically necessary abortions along with other medically necessary services for low-income residents.

"State Medicaid in Alaska can't single out abortions and treat them differently from other Medicaid services," Decker said. "With every other service, Alaska trusts its medical doctors to adhere to the best interests of their patients."

A representative for Bill Streur, the Alaska Department of Health and Human Services Commissioner, did not immediately return calls for comment.

The representative told the Anchorage Daily News on Wednesday that Streur would not comment until he had reviewed the lawsuit with state lawyers.

Under the regulations set to take effect next week, paperwork requesting Medicaid reimbursement will include two boxes. Doctors would check the first box if the patient was the victim of rape or incest, or the second box to certify that the procedure was "medically necessary" to prevent serious risk to the woman.

A list of medical conditions - which includes congestive heart failure, a pregnancy complication called eclampsia, and a psychiatric disorder - which could put a pregnant woman in "imminent danger" of damage to a "major bodily function" can be cited as defining the notion of "medically necessary."

Last summer, at the request of a Democratic state senator who objected to the regulation - which was then only a proposal - Alaska's Legislative Affairs Agency issued a legal memo on the abortion regulation, saying the regulation would "likely be found unconstitutional," NBC's Anchorage affiliate, KTUU, reported in August.

Nancy Pelosi to Receive Margaret Sanger Award from Planned Parenthood
2/4/14  The nation’s largest abortion provider has announced that House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi will receive the Margaret Sanger Award at the organization’s annual gala on March 27th.

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America says that Pelosi will be speaking at the event next month, where she will be recognized for her “her leadership, excellence, and outstanding contributions to the reproductive health and rights movement over the course of her career.”

“No one is more deserving of this honor than Leader Pelosi, who has fought tirelessly throughout her career to protect and expand women’s access to health care,” said Cecile Richards, the president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America in a news release surrounding the award.

“As the first woman to serve as Speaker of the House, Leader Pelosi recognized that women’s health is a mainstream issue impacting women and families,” she continued. “Her leadership in passing the Affordable Care Act and her ongoing commitment ensures that the promise of the law is realized for millions of women as the greatest advancement for women’s health in a generation.”

Pelosi, a Roman Catholic, will be following in the footsteps of other award recipients such as Martin Luther King Jr., Alan Guttmacher, MD, Katharine Hepburn, Bella Abzug, Justice Harry Blackmun, Dolores Huerta, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Anthony Romero.

The House Democratic Leader also received the Champion of Women’s Health Award from Planned Parenthood in 2010, which was created to applaud those that were active in working toward health care reform in the nation. Pelosi was specifically selected for the award for her opposition to the Stupak Amendment, which was meant to bar federal funds from being used for abortion in insurance plans.

But not everyone believes that the award is such an honor. The website Twitchy notes that numerous Americans have taken to Twitter since the announcement to express their concern and disgust.

“That anyone would accept an award named after a eugenicist racist like Sanger shows the depravity of the recipient,” wrote evangelist Tony Miano.

“Nancy Pelosi winning the Margaret Sanger award is kinda like Margaret Sanger winning the Nancy Pelosi award,” Tweeted officials with March for Life.

Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood in 1921, which was originally known as the American Birth Control League. She later changed the name as some found it offensive.

“We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all,” Sanger once said, who was reportedly a staunch advocate of eugenics. “The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”

Sanger was also the publisher of the newspaper The Woman Rebel, which she subtitled “No Gods, no masters.”

As previously reported, Planned Parenthood performed 327,166 abortions during the 2012-2013 fiscal year.

17,000 Faith-Based Doctors Oppose Health Care Bill's Abortion Funding
Only 20% of the doctors in the United States belong to the American Medical Association or AMA.. Among the 80% who don't are seventeen thousand faith-based doctors who belong to the Christian Medical Association, or CMA.. They are urging the House of Representatives to vote against the controversial health care overhaul bill approved by the Senate, H.R. 3590.

Keep an open mind as you read their reasons: "Such funding ....clearly violates the longstanding Hyde amendment and related laws....Besides the obvious moral wrong of funding abortions, this policy will also have negative economic consequences. Incentivized by new insurance subsidies, abortionists will simply raise prices and increase their profits. Increased abortions will rob the country of much of the younger generation that otherwise would help avert the financial strain of a top-heavy older population." (Ok, mind still open?) The CEO of CMA, David Stevens, MD wrote a letter to all members of the House in which he said: "The CMA strongly opposes this legislation because it fails to provide strong conscience protections for healthcare professionals, allows direct federal funding of elective abortions in community health centers and allows federal funds to subsidize health plans covering abortions."
In a free country, don't we have the right to live according to our own consciences? At this point it's not about what you or anyone else thinks about abortion. It's about a physician's right to refuse to do a procedure that he or she finds morally reprehensible. It's about a citizen's right not to fund a procedure he or she finds morally repugnant. If this reform bill, as some think it now stands, makes it mandatory for physicians and other medical professionals to perform and/or assist with abortions, how many faith-based doctors will stay in the profession to be sued? Shouldn't there be a conscientious objection right for doctors?

If doctors can be forced to commit what THEY feel are murders, be it abortion or euthanasia, they will leave the profession.

United States Sees 53 Million Abortions Since Roe in 1973
Americans saw a political milestone this month as more pro-life lawmakers were elected to the House of Representatives than ever before, but the nation also quietly reached a less joyful mark.

In January, the National Right to Life Committee provided a new analysis of the total number of abortions done in the 37 years since the Roe v. Wade decision.

The Supreme Court handed down its controversial ruling — allowing virtually unlimited abortions at any time throughout pregnancy — in January 1973. The NRLC analysis found that 52 million unborn children had been killed in abortions as of January.

The analysis also found that the best estimate for the current number of annual abortions in the United States — involving both the surgical abortion procedure as well as the dangerous abortion drug RU 486 — is 1.2 million.

As a result, the United States likely passed the 53 million abortion mark on November 1 — the day before Americans went to the polls to vote in a pro-life House majority and target President Barack Obama’s pro-abortion allies for defeat.

Obama has done everything in his power to advance abortion and continue that pro-abortion legacy of the Supreme Court, including naming two more pro-abortion jurists in Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor. He has also expanded that 53 million abortions by authorizing abortion funding in various instances and decreasing funds for abstinence education.

In its survey of abortion numbers, NRLC goes to the source by relying on the Guttmacher Institute, the former research arm of Planned Parenthood, which receives numbers directly from abortion centers themselves.

That’s because the Centers for Disease Control has never tabulated accurate numbers of abortions. The CDC relies on figures from state health departments, some of which rely on voluntary reporting — and it hasn’t had data from some states such as California and New Hampshire for more than a decade.

“Because of these different methods of data collection, GI has consistently obtained higher counts than the CDC. CDC researchers have admitted it probably undercounts the total number of abortions because reporting laws vary from state to state and some abortionists probably do not report or under-report the abortions they perform,” NRLC explained in January.

Digging into the numbers, the NRLC analysis from earlier this year showed abortion numbers rising in the 1970s and, in the 1980s, abortion eventually mainstreamed itself to the point that about 1.55 million abortions were done annually until the early 1990s.

At that point, as crisis pregnancy centers began turning the corner with the use of ultrasounds, pro-life state legislation began to take hold and the Internet allowed the pro-life perspective to flourish, abortions began to decline.

“After reaching a high of over 1.6 million in 1990, the number of abortions annually performed in the U.S. has dropped back to levels not seen since the late 1970s,” NRLC says.

The Guttmacher Institutes most recent abortion figures, from 2005, confirm the downward trend from a high of 1.6 million abortions in 1990 to 1.2 million that year. Without any hard figures in the last few years, NRLC estimates the number of abortions from 2006 to today at the same rate of 1.2 million that GI reported.

To calculate the overall number of abortions, NRLC includes the hard figures from 1973-2005, the estimates for the last few years and also includes the Guttmacher Institute’s admission that its own figures are likely about three percent lower than the actual totals because of potential errors in reporting.

National Right to Life estimated that, in January, there have been 52,008,665 abortions using either surgical or the abortion drug (RU 486) method since Roe v. Wade.

NRLC director of research and education Randy O’Bannon talked with at that time about the figures.

NRLC facthseet on abortion numbers
“Abortion has taken a terrible toll on America. We’ve now lost more than 52 million of our sons, daughters, friends, and neighbors and we are a much poorer nation for it,” he said.

“Over the past twenty years, however, we have seen that pro-life efforts can make a difference, as the number of abortions performed in the U.S. has declined from 1.6 million to 1.2 million a year. We’ve still a long way to go, obviously, but we see that pro-life legislation, education, and outreach can save and has saved hundreds of thousands of lives,” O’Bannon added. “Our task is great, but our cause is just.”

Babies that live thru abortions
Feb 2010
MIDWIVES have revealed that babies are being born alive after botched abortions by doctors and allowed to die without receiving life-saving medical treatment.

An investigation by The Sunday Times has uncovered at least six cases where babies have been born alive after terminations have gone wrong.

They include a mother whose handicapped baby lived for three days after the termination procedure failed to kill the infant.

A diary kept by one midwife up until last year claims there was an “unwritten rule” in her hospital unit of not resuscitating aborted babies that survived termination procedures.

“Sometimes the aborted babies were alive at birth,” it states. “There was an unwritten policy on the unit that babies would not be given assistance.”

The midwife, who does not want to be named, claims to have witnessed one 23-week-old baby with Down’s syndrome breathe and move for more than three hours after an abortion.

The practices will be debated at next week’s annual British Medical Association conference, where one motion demands new guidelines that babies born in botched abortions should receive the same care as ones delivered prematurely.

Medical advances mean doctors can now save premature babies born at 22 or 23 weeks. However, doctors and midwives admit botched abortions are often concealed and the damaged infants, which have very little chance of survival, are simply kept warm and allowed to perish.

Sue MacDonald, education and research manager at the Royal College of Midwives, said she had witnessed a baby born alive after termination. The baby, which survived for three days, was fed and kept warm but not given medical treatment to try to save its life.

“Full neonatal care may not be appropriate for all the babies,” she said. “This is very rare but it does happen. His abnormality was such that he would not have survived and the parents knew that.”

Other incidents include:

Two cases at Leicester Royal Infirmary, according to David Field, the hospital’s professor of foetal medicine. Although both babies initially survived and received intensive care, they subsequently died of their original handicaps and the damage caused during the failed attempts at abortion.

A baby destined for abortion for Down’s syndrome at an unidentified home counties hospital.
It was cared for afterwards by specialists at St George’s hospital in south London and is believed to have been adopted.
A spokesman for the hospital said that as a neonatal intensive care unit it received cases of botched abortions from other hospitals across the southeast, but it happened “less than once a year”.

A severely handicapped child now aged seven, born following a failed termination at a Midlands hospital.
Although the parents were determined to take the child home and care for it, they are now suing the hospital for the trauma and cost involved.

Babies can be aborted for “social reasons” up to 24 weeks, but right up to nine months if there is a risk of severe handicap.
Latest figures show 1,354 babies of 22 weeks or more, which may have been capable of surviving, were aborted in England and Wales in 2002.

Frozen Fetuses Found During Doctor's Office Raid
Feb 2010
Philadelphia and federal authorities who raided a doctor's office after allegations a woman died following an abortion made a shocking discovery: more than two dozen frozen fetuses.
For the second time in four days, Philadelphia Police, along with State Licensing officials and DEA agents, searched the West Philadelphia office of Dr. Kermit Gosnell on Monday.
The search came after a patient reportedly died following an abortion on November 20.
Investigators recovered more than two dozen fetuses stored in a freezer, some dating back 30 years.

According to the State Board of Medicine, Dr. Gosnell had an unlicensed staff member conduct vaginal exams and administer medication.
In the November 20 case, the state claims the staff member administered Demerol, Promethazine and Diazepam to the female patient.
After the doctor arrived at the clinic, the patient was given more medication. After the doctor performed an abortion, the patient started to have an arrhythmia and later died, state officials said. Autopsy results are pending.
Dr. Gosnell's license has been temporarily suspended. So far, he has not been charged with any criminal wrongdoing.  The investigation is ongoing.

One baby in 30 left alive after abortion
Feb 2010
One in 30 babies aborted for medical reasons is born alive, a study has found.
They lived for an average of 80 minutes - although in some cases foetuses survived for over six hours.
Most of the babies were born between 20 and 24 weeks of pregnancy, but some had been in the womb for as little as 17 weeks.  102 - around one in 30 - aborted for reasons such as Down's Syndrome and heart defects, were born alive.
If people are going to talk about abortion, then it's important for them to know that these babies can be born alive and survive.

Florida Clinic Threw Out Live Baby
Feb 2010
-  18  and pregnant, Sycloria Williams went to an abortion clinic outside Miami and paid $1,200 for Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique to terminate her 23-week pregnancy.
Three days later, she sat in a reclining chair, medicated to dilate her cervix and otherwise get her ready for the procedure.  Only Renelique didn't arrive in time, she went into labor and delivered a live baby girl.

One of the clinic's owners, who has no medical license, cut the infant's umbilical cord.
She placed the baby in a plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.
Police recovered the decomposing remains in a cardboard box a week later after getting anonymous tips.,2933,488644,00.html

Florida Doctors License Revoked after Botched Live Abortion
The Board of Medicine revoked a Florida doctor's license in a case of a teenager who went to have an abortion but instead gave birth to a live baby who ended up dead when clinic staffers put it into a plastic bag and threw it in the trash.

Oklahoma Restricts abortion
Oklahoma Senate overrides governor's vetoes to pass abortion
April 27, 2010
The Oklahoma Senate voted to override the governor's vetoes and pass two strong anti-abortion measures.  One law requires women to undergo an ultrasound examination and listen to a description of what it shows before getting an abortion.

Senate President Pro Tempore Glenn Coffee, a Republican, said the vote shows lawmakers listened to Oklahoma's residents and "made a bold statement in support of the sanctity of life."
But Democratic Gov. Brad Henry has called the legislation "an unconstitutional attempt by the Oklahoma legislature to insert government into the private lives and decisions of its citizens."

Henry vetoed the bill and another abortion-related measure Friday, but the state house overwhelmingly voted to override both vetoes, with House Speaker Chris Benge, a Republican, lauding his colleagues for moving quickly. The Senate's 36-12 vote Tuesday was the final step required to make the bills laws

The House voted 84 to 12 to override the veto over the legal damages prohibition. State Rep. Dan Sullivan, a Republican, said the bill "simply states that a doctor cannot be sued based on the opinion after birth that a child would have been better off if he or she had been aborted."

Dead Babies Turn into Stamina Booster Pills
August 5, 2011
A South Korean TV documentary team accuses Chinese pharmaceutical companies of selling dead baby pills as stamina boosters.  The team reveals that the truth behind the dead baby pill is horrific and disturbing.  Chinese hospitals and abortion clinics that are connected to the business immediately notify pharmaceutical companies when a baby dies, mostly because of a still birth or an abortion.

The companies purchase the baby corpses and store them in some family’s refrigerator to avoid suspicion. The next step in this highly secretive process is putting the corpses in a medical drying microwave and grinding them into pills. The ground baby powder is then put in a capsule, ready to be sold as a stamina enhancer, according to the SBS team.

The Korean team acquired the dead baby capsules and ran DNA tests on it. The test results reportedly indicated the pills were 99.7 percent human. The test also found hair and nail remnants, and even the gender of the baby could be identified. The process will be aired with visuals in the SBS TV documentary on Aug. 6, 2011 in South Korea.

SBS further reveals that there has been a business network established between China and South Korea for a while, to fulfill the baby capsule demand in South Korean market.
Besides the dead baby pills, microwave dried placenta is another popular business in China, which hospital staff are allegedly openly involved with.

When Will Black America Wake Up on Abortion?
Nov. 2011
It’s common for the black political establishment to claim white conservatives and their policies cause black America’s problems. It’s a shame this accusation is never challenged because in many ways it is the black establishment that is enabling decline.

There is, for example, a chasm of fatherlessness in black America that breeds malcontents. A man-child mentality permeates communities in which morally malnourished minors learn life lessons from ****ographic and misogynistic rap songs glorifying “thug life.” Yet government programs make single-parent households and absent fathers advantageous.

There might be approximately 54 million blacks alive in America today.
Due to abortion, there are only about 39 million.

The National Black Prolife Coalition estimates 1,000 black babies are aborted every day. Nearly one in three black pregnancies end in abortion each year in America. In New York City alone, almost 47 percent, or 40,798, of the city’s 87,273 abortions in 2009 reportedly were performed on black women.

Abortion Not About Terminating Pregnancy, It’s Killing a Baby
Nov 2011
Imagine that medicine allowed doctors to easily and safely remove babies from the womb long before birth and put them in some sort of artificial womb to complete their development. Now ask yourself if this technology would completely remove the market for killing the unborn.

Answer? No. Why? Because, as it is generally used in America, abortion is not about stopping a nine-month pregnancy, despite euphemisms used to suggest as much. It is about killing the child.

If the child was allowed to live, the desired “autonomy” of those who are choosing to kill him or her would be “infringed” by the life-long chores of child-rearing. While you hear lots of talk about “a woman’s right to choose” because “her body is her choice,” any experienced mother can tell you that the nine months of pregnancy are not likely to be the most difficult time of motherhood.

By contrast, the goal of an abortion is a dead baby. An abortion that ends the pregnancy but not the child’s life is known by the abortion industry as a “failed abortion.”

In the interests of honesty, then, let’s dispense with euphemism “terminating the pregnancy.” Abortion is about killing children, about providing “autonomy” from post-birth children and attendant child-rearing responsibilities. That is where the line is and that is what those who favor abortion must defend.

Abortion Workers Use Scissors to Stab Babies Born Alive

10/29/2011  Many abortion advocates have no clue what goes on at the clinics they endorse, nor do they really want to know.

I’ve seen cars with a bumper sticker on one side saying ‘Pro Choice’ and a bumper sticker on the other side saying ‘The question is not, can they reason? nor, can they talk? But, can they suffer?’ with a picture of a cow.  This same person is worried about a cow suffering and not a human baby that was ripped apart in the womb, or worse yet, born alive and then stabbed with a pair of scissors to make sure it doesn’t survive.

Doctor Beheaded 100 Babies Born Alive
Horrifying details of the work inside an abortion clinic — allegations of babies born alive and then almost beheaded when their spinal cords were cut — have been told to a Philadelphia jury. This week, the “House of Horrors” murder trial of doctor Kermit Gosnell heard from one of his assistants...

Atlantic: Why Gosnell's Trial Should Be a Front-Page Story
4/12/13 The grand jury report in the case of Kermit Gosnell, 72, is among the most horrifying I've read. "This case is about a doctor who killed babies and endangered women. What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy - and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors," it states. "The medical practice by which he carried out this business was a filthy fraud in which he overdosed his patients with dangerous drugs, spread venereal disease among them with infected instruments, perforated their wombs and bowels - and, on at least two occasions, caused their deaths."

Abortionist Stored Baby Body Parts in Cat Food Containers
A medical examiner involved with the case of ‘House of Horrors’ abortionist Kermit Gosnell testified that body parts of babies killed at the facility were stored in cat food containers and water jugs.
Sam Gulino told jurors that the containers were placed in red plastic bags and shoved into the freezer in the basement of Women’s Medical Society in Philadelphia. He said that he had to thaw the containers, wherein he discovered the partial remains of 47 aborted babies.

“It was the first time I had to deal with fetuses that were frozen and that I had to thaw out,” Gulino stated.

He explained that some of the containers had only feet in them, and in one instance, there was part of a pelvis and a right leg of a baby that he estimated as being 14-15 weeks in gestation. Gulino said that three of the babies may have been able to survive outside the womb had they not been killed, but could not confirm if any of the children that he examined had been born alive.

Apr 2013
The final prosecution witness against Kermit Gosnell, the abortion doctor on trial for the capital murder of seven babies and one adult patient, was Kareema Cross, a former employee of Gosnell's. Thursday Cross testified that she saw ten babies breathe before Gosnell killed them.

Cross saw the babies chests move but was told by Gosnell they were not breathing. She also claims to have seen 3 of the babies move their limbs and another let out a soft whine, before they were murdered.

Cross's testimony also added more fuel to the bonfire directed at city and state officials, who, according to 2011 grand jury testimony, failed for seventeen years to officially inspect or act on numerous complaints about the Gosnell clinic. Cross said she was so troubled by what she was witnessing that she called authorities and took photographs.

If Cross did indeed complain to authorities, it appears that little or nothing was done. According to the grand jury report, Gosnell was not shut down by the Department of Health; he was shut down after his horror show was discovered by police during a raid related to illegal prescriptions.

Baby Abortion Survivor Was 'Swimming' in Toilet 'Trying to Get Out'

Judge drops 3 murder charges against abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell
4/23/13  It took the prosecution five weeks to present their case against West Philly abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell and it took defense attorney Jack McMahon a couple of hours to knock a big hole through a critical part of their argument.

Three first-degree murder charges were dropped against Gosnell after McMahon argued that "there is not one piece...of objective, scientific evidence that anyone was born alive" at Gosnell's clinic.
Prosecutors have argued that the babies were viable and that Gosnell and his staff cut them in the back of the neck to kill them.

Gosnell was originally charged with eight counts of murder. Seven first-degree murder charges are for accusations that he killed seven newborns. The third-degree murder charge is for the 2009 death of Karnamaya Mongar, a 41-year-old Bhutanese refugee prosecutors say received lethal doses of sedatives and painkillers at the clinic while awaiting an abortion.

'Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you.'
"As long as we've got to fight to make sure women have access to quality, affordable health care, and as long as we've got to fight to protect a woman's right to make her own choices about her own health, I want you to know that you've also got a president who's going to be right there with you, fighting every step of the way," said Obama. "Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you."

Judge rules Wisconsin abortion law unconstitutional
Mar 2015
A federal judge struck down a Wisconsin law requiring DOCTORS performing abortions to get hospital admitting privileges, ruling that any benefits to women's health from the requirement are "substantially outweighed" by restricting women's access to abortion.

U.S. District Judge William Conley ruled that the 2013 law is unconstitutional. He issued a permanent injunction blocking its enforcement.  In his ruling, Conley wrote that the "marginal benefit to women's health" by requiring hospital admitting privileges "is substantially outweighed by the burden this requirement will have on women's health outcomes due to restricted access to abortions in Wisconsin."

14 states require DOCTORS performing abortions to either have hospital admitting privileges or some sort of alternative agreement, according to the Guttmacher Institute, which supports abortion rights. Five other states have passed such restrictions but courts have put them temporarily on hold.

Laughing  Fetus Clapping Video    Very Happy
Viral video shows ultrasound of unborn baby clapping as mother sang 'If You're Happy and You Know it clap your hands.'
Is the video real?  Yes and no.  She and her husband, Scott, had gone in for the ultrasound, “and the baby clapped 3 times on screen. Not to the music, just clapped 3 times."

Just for fun, the doctor then rewound the tape and the couple sang to their baby's claps, as Scott videotaped the screen.  So while the baby was not responding to the mother's singing, the clapping motion was real.

You created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

Planned Parenthood Rep: Christianity Going Down
Jan 2014
- For those of us so very blessed to have raised our personal white flag in mankind’s inherently fruitless struggle against the Creator, there can be no joy in watching God-deniers continue to labor under the grandest of all deceptions. Regardless of how nasty they may be as individuals, there can be only sadness, genuine pity and prayer.

Still, it is instructive.

When the atheist gives voice to his or her God-denial, it provides those in truth a small glimpse into the same dark spirit—old as Adam—that prompted the psalmist to observe, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good” (Ps. 14:1, NIV).

Valerie Tarico is one such God-denier. She’s on a fool’s errand. A steadfast disciple to the unholy trinity of LGBT, atheist and pro-abortion activism, Ms. Tarico proudly sits on the board of advocates for Planned Parenthood—America’s premier one-stop death shop.

Anesthesia for babies being murdered
Mar 8, 2016
-  Utah Bill requires anesthesia for babies during abortion, admitting the poor things feel PAIN.  The Utah Senate voted 19-5 in favor of legislation that would require doctors to administer anesthesia to babies during an abortion. The bill applies to abortions carried out any time after 20 weeks of gestation.

If we are going to kill the baby, then anesthesia would be required to protect the child from the infliction of pain at the time their life is forfeit.  Abortion is a death sentence on an innocent child.

May 6, 2016
 -   UK and US scientists have developed a new technique enabling a human embryo to live outside the womb far longer than before, but experiments are fraught with ethical issues.  The previous record for an embryo surviving in a lab was 9 days, and usually the embryo would be implanted into a womb as in IVF or die.

2 labs created a chemical environment that tricked the embryo into thinking it was already in a womb while it remained in a petri dish. The embryos flourished until day 13, when they were killed by the scientists to avoid contravening guidelines in both the US and the UK that forbid scientific experiments on human fetuses over two weeks old.
