EU sanctions Crimea
December 19, 2014
-  Having slapped Crimea and Sevastopol with new investment restrictions, the EU stopped short of introducing new sanctions against Russia’s mainland, with political heavyweights including France and Germany cautiously hinting at possible policy reversal.
Imposing more sanctions on Russia may hurt the European economy even further.  (And the U.S. economy too!)

“The fact that Russia is in a difficult situation from a financial point of view is not good news, not for the Russian citizens, not for Ukraine and not for Europe and the rest of the world.”
German Chancellor Angela Merkel urged members to place more trust in Russian President Vladimir Putin.

YES!  Trust Putin, not Obama!  Sanctioning Crimea is like the boss yelling at the man, who goes home and yells at his wife who yells at the kids who kick the dog.
Crimea is only the poor dog!

Also - it appears the EU fears the bear.  Unlike Obama, they DONT want nuclear war with Russia!

Ukraine cuts electricity to Crimea!
December 24, 2014 -
Blackout paralyzes Crimea as Ukraine cuts electricity to peninsula.  Ukraine unilaterally cut electric power supplies to the Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol to zero on all four lines.
Local authorities take measures to generate electricity to provide electric power for at least a half of the peninsula and restore the operation of mobile communication. "Negotiations with Ukraine are underway so that they resume supplies of electricity to the Crimea."

Power cut on the threshold of a regular meeting of the contact group in Minsk to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine. Obviously, the problem with electricity in the Crimea will not help resolve the situation.  Electricity was cut on the whole Crimean Peninsula on December 24, at 11:20 a.m. Moscow time - in all cities, including Simferopol. All main lines, including special ones, have been disabled. Strategic facilities, including the international airport and the train stations, have been disconnected from electric supplies too.

This aint good!
One of Obama's declarations of WAR on Russia was he would not accept the results of the people's vote in Crimea to join Russia.

Ukraine briefly cuts power to Crimea

Russia prepared raising nuclear readiness over Crimea
March 15, 2015
Sunday -   Russia was ready to bring its nuclear weapons into a state of alert during 2014 tensions over the Crimean Peninsula and the overthrow of Ukraine's president, President Vladimir Putin said in remarks aired on Sunday.

Putin admitted that the forces in unmarked uniforms who took control of Ukrainian military facilities in Crimea were Russian soldiers.
Putin's comments highlight the extent to which alarm spread in Russia in the weeks following Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych's ouster in February 2014. After Yanukovych fled Kiev to Russia, separatist sentiment soared in Crimea.

Russian forces took control of Ukrainian military facilities on the peninsula and a referendum on secession was hastily called. The referendum brought overwhelming support for secession. Russia annexed Crimea on March 19, 2014.

In the documentary, Putin says of the nuclear preparedness, "We were ready to do this.  Crimea is our historical territory. Russian people live there. They were in danger. We cannot abandon them."

The comments were reported on the state broadcaster's website after its transmission in the Russian Far East and before it appeared on the air in Moscow.

Putin said his plans for a Crimean operation started after Yanukovych fled, the victim of a coup.  Russian forces helped Yanukovych escape to Russia. Putin never thought about severing Crimea from Ukraine until the coup. Russia's Black Sea Fleet is based in Crimea; it retained the bases after the collapse of the Soviet Union under an agreement with Ukraine.

I have no idea if Putin recorded that, but he probably did - when  unknown.

Crimea will never again be part of Ukraine
March 16, 2015
-  Crimea's prime minister said the peninsula has returned to its historical Russian homeland and will never again be part of Ukraine.  Sergei Aksyonov said the annexation of the peninsula by Russia one year ago had been a democratic act.

Crimea Muslim Rebellion
Dec 27, 2015  -  Turkey helping Tatar Muslim terrorism
.  Crimean Tatar Muslim terror leader (can we just say the po-tater?) Lenur Islyamov claims Turkey is helping with the formation of a Tatar battalion tasked with sabotage.  Islyamov represents the Majlis of Crimean Tatars tasked with carrying out attacks inside the Crimean peninsula.  Ankara has provided boots and uniforms.

Islyamov hopes they will serve as a Tatar navy seals battalion. The main task of the paramilitary unit will be guerrilla warfare and acts of sabotage inside the Crimea.
The objectives are to strike everywhere we can.

Islyamov is a Russian citizen wanted by Russia for organizing a blockade of Crimea.  Islyamov threatens to disrupt ferry connections which separates the peninsula and mainland Russia.  The Tatar terrorists destroyed several electricity pylons and prevented repair crews from restoring energy to Crimea. The power line sabotage operation left more than 1.8 million people in the Black Sea peninsula in a blackout.

The majority of those living in Crimea are ethnic Russians, only 12% are Crimean Tatar Muslims.  Crimeans voted overwhelmingly to join Russia, leave Ukraine after the Nazis took over Kiev thanks to 0bama.

Russian President Putin was hoping to prevent the po-Tater Muslim terrorists from attacks in Russian, of which Crimea is part.

Exclamation    Stop Lying About Crimea!
Feb 8, 2017
-  Russia did NOT seize Crimea!!  War between the U.S. and Russia increasingly likely unless the U.S. government and MSM lies about Crimea STOP!

The U.S. is the cause for war between the U.S. and Russia.
The world is sliding toward World War 3 based upon these lies, until these lies are publicly repudiated by the U.S. government. The liar on this is clearly the U.S. and not Russia.

Obama economic sanctions against Russia are based upon the lies.  Why is the West allowed to dictate to Crimeans, and to Syrians, that they cannot choose their own government?

Crimea is Russia
Feb 15, 2017
-  CNN is always #FakeNews so I am posting just comments.  2/3 of Crimea is Russian people.  If McCain didnt go over to Ukraine and encourage a coup Crimea, would still be part of Ukraine.

Trump was pointing out media hypocrisy over its coverage of him vs. its coverage of Obama.  Pretty sure he knows that Crimea is going to stay in Russian hands no matter what, for the same reason that the neocons wanted to give control over the territory to their fascist puppet government in Ukraine: its naval facilities are irreplaceable.
