CHURCH * Signs and wonders, persecution - or BOTH?
PRAY! Christians being persecuted, killed - PRAY!
NKorea killing Christians
October 11, 2011 North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il’s ruthless agents are attacking and even murdering South Korean activists
Many of the activists are evangelical Christians who are smuggling out North Korean defectors and sending anti-Kim literature and Bibles across the border.
NK agents killed South Korean pastor Patrick Kim and secretly helped people slip out of North Korea into China. The weapon of choice in the August slaying most likely was a poisoned needle.

PRAY for persecuted Christians
October 14, 2011 The west is not championing Christians of the Islamic world or their plight.
Neither is the vatican.
Christians are prohibited from practicing Christianity in Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan and Egypt are killing them.
Just got back from out of town - earlier today, I commented to someone and showed a news article over how China's home church network is coming under severe persecution.
For the most part, if you build a church building there, you have to register with the country AND abide by China's laws. If you think 501c3 here is bad, it is much, much worse to register there.
Anyhow, to cut to the chase, I was nearly shocked when she told me how it was no big deal, how the home church is at fault for praying in a public place(when the article CLEARLY said they had NO place to worship at the time), and how there are Christians in China's government anyways and registering with them is no big deal b/c we're lambs among wolves anyways and God protects them anyways.
I shouldn't be mad, but I can't tell you how it grieved the Spirit when I heard this. Again, China's government is very, very, very evil. The home church network does NOT have to register, so therefore they are NOT violating any laws.
Woe to those who call good evil, and evil good.
Signs and wonders - or persecution?
We live in a day when - sadly - many have fallen away - and many more will.
They were HOT but suddenly went COLD. Demanding of GOD is witchcraft.
The LORD moves as He will, and in accord with the NEED of His children.
Someone sent me the following randy peacher email, interesting.
Can we expect signs and wonders without persecution? Do the two go hand in hand?
Will signs and wonders just come FREE, or does persecution bring the signs?
Everything happens for a reason. There is a cause and their is an effect.
The cause is eternity and the advancement of the name of Jesus Christ.
If we are to be One in Him as He is in the Father, will we have to pay the same price Jesus did.
There is no such thing as a free ride.
We need to pay attention to the events Believers are suffering across the globe, it may be coming to our neighborhood.
The lies, the intimidation, the threats and the deceptions of the enemy run deep, just under the surface.
Prepare and wear the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6), not just bits and pieces - be ready in and out of season.
This thing will not be over until we reach heavens shores. Be strong in the LORD and the power of HIS MIGHT (not ours, it is not in us).
put on the whole armor of God that we may battle and succeed against the wiles of our enemy.
We can do all things through Christ Jesus who resides in every Believer.
Do not think of what we will say when persecution and a price tag is required for what we believe; the Spirit of God will give us words at the proper moment.
Our duty is to stay in such contact with Him that we can hear Him on a moments notice.
Churchianity or Christianity?
I am tormented in this flame. Luke 16:24
Will some who think they are 'christian' be in hell?
The New Tolerance, by Josh McDowell
The church and homosexuals
an evaluation of little-c christianity and Big-C Christianity
There will be no true Christians in hell.
However there will likely be MANY christians in hell - those who believe any church saves them.
These thoughts are dully supported by scripture.
If Jesus is with us, where do we take Him?
The Church purified by persecution
Persecution is not coming to the U.S.A. - its here NOW.
It seems to me most who think they are christian have no clue what a CHRISTIAN is.
They dont talk to or about Jesus or read their bible.
Jesus is the ONLY Way! John 14.
They live like hell and think they will go to heaven.
They disagree with Almighty GOD but expect to spend forever with him.
They are in grave danger!
There is NO purgatory. That is a Satanic LIE!
At the very moment of death a person is in heaven or hell - forever - with NO hope of escape.
I felt led to post this, and did a subject search.
This is NOT an easy subject to cover - but
God's children NEED to prepare for persecution, like it or not.
Purification through Persecution - 1 Peter 4:12-19
When the going is good, anyone can trip along through life. How about when life gets rough? What happens to your faith then? How do you respond when the news is bad? Sooner or later, if we are living out our faith, bad things will happen. Maybe it’s a job situation where faith is tested by the unseen world. Maybe it will be coworkers slandering you because of the stand you have taken for the Kingdom.
Peter tells us to rejoice when we are persecuted as we live out our faith. Remember, we are aliens and foreigners in this world. We don’t belong. We will never belong until Christ comes again.
Training and Character - 2 Timothy 2:8-13
If you are going through difficulty, you are not alone. Suffering is something that all Christians experience in one way or another.
If you are saved from hell, justified by Faith, NOT works, then there will be certain results.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2
The rejoicing comes immediately. We rejoice because we are going to be with the Lord. We have a hope for the future, a hope beyond death. That is the initial and introductory phase of Christian growth.
Romans 5 verses 3-5
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
It is clear from this that Christians are expected to experience suffering.
We don't like that fact, but, nevertheless, it is a fact. In his letter to the Philippians, Chapter 1, Verse 29, the Apostle Paul puts it very plainly, "For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake," (Philippians 1:29 RSV). So those who think that becoming a Christian will remove them from suffering have been seriously misled and self-deceived, for the Scriptures themselves teach that we are to expect suffering.
The Greek word for suffering, basically, is translated as tribulation, something that causes distress.
It can range from minor annoyances that we go through every day, to major disasters that come sweeping down out of the blue and leave us stricken and smitten. These are the sufferings that we might go through, the tribulations.
According to Romans 5, the Christian response to suffering is to rejoice: Not only so, but we rejoice in our sufferings.
Smyrna: The Suffering Church
This church is purged of error, of sin through suffering.
Revelation chapter 2 verses 8 through 11
Do not worry what you will eat or drink. Look at the birds - They do not sow or reap or gather into barns and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said:
Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you. So we say with confidence: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me.
Father, we thank you that you assure us and reassure us that we are being loved all through this time, that we are being tested and developed and made into something we need and want very badly, and that you know what you are doing. You are faithful and do not allow us to be tempted above that which we are able to bear. You are even showing us how much we are able to bear, when we think we can't bear very much. Thank you, Lord, for that. Thank you that through the pressure and testing you give a deep sense of joy. And as we understand that this is coming from your loving hand, you, by the Holy Spirit, will release in our hearts your love to us, to steady us and enfold us and keep us strong and rejoicing. We thank you for this in Jesus' name, Amen.
He Giveth More Grace
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed, 'ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.
His love has no limit, His grace has no measure;
His power no boundary known unto men.
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.
Dec 13, 2015 - Christianity will disappear from Iraq and Syria within one or two generations.
Iraqi Christians call themselves Chaldeans. 2 Christian women were publicly raped and then beheaded along with 6 Christian men.
ISIS, Islamic State continues to drive Christians from their homes, seizing their property, and offering them the choice between converting to Islam or being massacred, one must conclude that this qualifies as genocide. Some of the oldest Christian communities in the world are disappearing from the very lands where they were born.
0bama actively blocks Christian refugees from coming to USA.
And the Christian Church is mostly - - SILENT!
